"Positive: Central location, friendly staff, simple but comfortable rooms. The rooms and bed sheets need some refreshment but all in all is a confortable stay. Make sure you bring ear plugs as you can hear the noise within the hostel and outside but this is normal in all accommodations in calafate and chalten."

"The Mirador is a good 4 star hotel. It has excellent location near downtown. The place is clean . Good restaurant. Very attentive service. The rooms are comfortable but extremely hot. They have floor heating and somehow they cannot regulate the temperature well. It was truly suffocating and we had to open the windows in extreme cold to make it bearable. They said the setting was in low but boy that was a steam room and dried your airways a lot They need to do something about it because otherwise the place is very comfortable. "

"Fan in the room would help. Breakfast was very good, made to order eggs, omelets. Park like setting, convenient to shopping and restaurants!"

"Simple Breakfast but ok and room with a good space and nice shower. The location is excelente, near from Restaurantes and the principal street. One thing that i didn´t like. Check out is at 10 am and they don´t accept late check out."

"This was the most lovely hotel we have probably stayed in. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind; they arranged for an early check-in for us on short notice, provided lots of information about the El Calafate area, and arranged for a very early airport pick up for us. Highly recommend staying here!"
