Lovely and quiet
Great time was had by all at Cedar Lodge! Comfy beds, all the kitchen equipment you need. A bit further from Stockton than I thought, but that was really my fault for not reading the listing properly.

Quiet getaway
Super convenient, perfectly clean. Only issue was listing showed 3 bedrooms. Only master bedroom and a loft. The horses are gorgeous and made my wife very happy to talk to them.

Great stay!
Overall the property and house were beautiful and clean. The only issue was the water had a bad smell, I'm guessing due to it being well water that had sat too long without being used, but they supplied plenty of drinking water.

Great stay, but be prepared for well water
Everything was great! The only thing you should know is that the water is well water. That being said the smell is not good but water was provided to drink and cook with. The house was great and we enjoyed our stay!!

Hidden gem in the country
We had the best time here! The house is updated and the property is private on beautiful country landscape. The beds are comfy and kitchen is great and well equipped. Everything is very clean and well kept. Nice dining area and the deck out back is amazing to gather for great nature views to relax and enjoy! We definitely hope to return soon!

Very beautiful property, this location is 10 minutes from Stockton and about 8 minutes to El Dorado. The house is very lovely and homey. They had fresh chicken eggs for us. Our family would definitely rent there again.

Our daughter was getting married in Stockton so to save us an 1.5 hr drive home Friday night after the rehearsal we stayed here. We loved the country setting, the privacy and the beautiful rustic decor styled home. Everything worked out perfectly for our stay. Thank you

We had trouble using the address in GPS, but after a few texts we found it no problem! It was so peaceful, the cows were entertaining, the house was very comfortable. Have to be careful at the little steps between rooms. Could use a citronella candle, we didn't have a moon, the deck was so inviting, but the bugs enjoyed it also!!! We highly recommend it!!!

So awesome. The hosts are beyond gracious and super friendly. And is equipped with everything!
We had a beautiful comforting time to celebrate a special moment and felt totally alone yet full privacy. The home had you covered on everything and make you feel so welcome. There are houses that are so friendly and come right to yard and love being pet. Will Def be getting again .

Weekend Get Away - Family of 5 + Dog.
What a great place. From the fire pit to the extra things that you may need in the house. Close to what you could need, but far enough away to feel In your own world. Beds were comfortable, spacious kitchen, and communication with Melanie our host was fantastic! We would definitely recommend and will visit again. Plus, the view of the stars is incredible!
