"Loved the pool, wish I had a chance to try the water slide! I also love how the kitchen is in the balcony facing the pool- very unique! The omlettes and pancakes for breakfast were also pretty good!"

"We have family in Puntarenas and always stay here when rools are available. The pool is fun to bring all of the family kids to during our stay and the staff at the front desk are so sweet. Property is right in the heart of the Paseo de Touristas with great breezes in the restaurant and easy access to bus lines and ferries. Best value on the Paseo, and trust me, I have stayed at them all."

"The view was incredible! I could spend four days by the pool. It was great to have the shuttle (4x4) to the beach. It is not a swimming beach at all, but it is great for watching the waves and reading a book. Drinks were delicious, though the good was hit or miss. (The tuna tartare was incredible; the seafood platter was a sad disappointment.) The staff were very kind and helpful and there was yoga on the weekends with a transcendent view."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at La Vida Mountain Resort and Spa. We particularly enjoyed the evenings watching spectacular thunderstorms flashing in distant skies over other valleys while there was not a drop of rain where we were. The food was consistently very good and the staff always friendly and helpful. We would definitely return."
