"My second time staying here, and a comfortable place to spend a night or two. The courtyard my room opened to is beautiful, and the pueblo style of the hotel is charming. Some aspects of the room are dated and worn, such as the carpet and bathroom tile, but the bed is super-comfy and I enjoy the character of the hotel."

"What a cool property! It’s just like the pictures and matches the descriptions. We had 15 adults and everyone fit comfortably with room to spare.The hosts were great about communication before the stay, and check in was a breeze thanks to Carrie. They even greeted us with wine and snacks!There was no need to reach out to them during our stay because everything went smoothly. I’d definitely recommend this place and would go back if we have a large group in that area again."

"Very quaint hotel on the town square with shops and a restaurant. The hotel also had a small coffee / tea shop. The tea was excellent. I never had loose leaf tea anywhere and this was superior to any tea bag. Staff were friendly and the room were very clean. This is an older hotel with charm. Local artwork on the walls for sale. Next door is a great gem and mineral gallery that also carried dinosaur teeth and small bones and other fossils."

"I rented the two bedroom suite even though we only needed one room. It had a nice kitchen, a dining area, and was very roomy, I loved the simple decorating, it was just lovely. I loved the 50s feel including the turquoise porch way and the historic sign. the staff was very nice! and at this price was a bargain on top of that! close to down town also! I will definitely stay there again!"

"Palacio is an understatement. The place sprawls. We were nine. Twice that number probably would work. Lots of nice outdoor space, too. Great art on the walls accentuates the nice architectural detail of the building. Located conveniently between Taos and the ski valley. If I were to find one fault, the palace does not afford views of the mountains and mesa from its interior."
