"Rustic area in NM and the property was very well maintained! We enjoyed our 2 day stay as we were there for the Chama to Antonito train ride which was spectacular!"

"You must be able to do stairs, front and back. I did not realize there was no AC unit. Bought wasp spray, killed 5 in house any many around front entry door. Lovely area and very easy to find. Host was very nice. A good find "

"The shower appartus is dreadful and should be replaced. They still use the spiral fluorescent light bulbs. The staff was helpful and cheerful."

"This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to relax and unwind! We absolutely loved staying at The Getaway and look forward to staying here in the future. The hosts have outstanding communication with you during your stay. When we arrived everything was clean and all set up for our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every night watching the sunset!"

"This is a beautiful cabin. It was very comfortable and relaxing for our whole family. We had plans to go around and enjoy town, but we felt so at home, we decided to stay in the entire time. Beautiful views and so peaceful."

"This mountain property was perfect for our family of 10! The hosts were super. The cabin is like a museum with all the animal mounts. It was peaceful & beautiful. The grandkids enjoyed seeing the deer & wild turkey. The large home had plenty of space for us all & the kitchen was spacious that several of us could be prepping & cooking at the same time. The porch was a great gathering area in the mornings & evenings to eat, play games or watch the wildlife that wandered through the property. Do not follow your GPS.Enjoy! We will return!"

"Our host was friendly and had nice advice for local events. Our cabin stay was perfect. We appreciate we could bring our fur babies. The view was amazing as well. We did leave a few items and our host was kind enough to get them mailed back to us."
