"The house and property itself was cute and had lots of charm. A little difficult to find, the address was not super visible and driveway down to the house could be marked better. There is a 4 car limit for parking and finding overnight parking was a challenge, owner was not super helpful with alternative suggestions. Carlin Bay is private property and the city of Harrison does not allow overnight parking. So if you have more than 4 cars I suggest figuring that out beforehand. Also for accommodating up to 10 people they only have 1 medium size trash bin and have you haul out extra garbage to dumpsters almost a half hour away from the house-pretty inconvenient. Could also use a bigger coffee pot, and a wagon to haul stuff up and down the hill would be an excellent addition to accommodations. House was clean and property was really nice tho."

"Susan was amazing to work with. probably the best VRBO experience as far as owner communication I have ever experienced.The property is beautiful. We arrived a little too late in the year for the spring in front of the cabin to be running, so we’ll probably have to go back another time to be able to see it. lots of hiking and walking nearby."

"We had a great time at CdA. Spent a week at this cabin in August. Family of four, plus the kids each brought a friend. Dog friendly. Beds are comfortable. Good view from the deck. Kid Island Bay is a pretty quiet bay. The entire bay is pretty shallow with a lot of seaweed, just like all the shallow bays on CdA. There’s a community swimming area just a short walk from the cabin with no seaweed. We kept a boat at the shared dock all week with no issues. The other cabin didn’t use the dock at all the week we were there. No trailer parking but you can leave the truck and/or trailer parked at one of the many boat launches. Communication was great. Check-in and check-out were easy."

"My sister and I brought our parents here for their 50th anniversary. Excellent stay. The home was super clean and in a great location. Its about 5-10 min from the charming downtown area. Even being that close to the city, while at the home, you feel secluded which was exactly what we were looking for. There were a couple of minor issues with the shades in the living area and the AC upstairs but nothing that couldn't be easily navigated or fixed. Highly recommend this property."

"The house was perfect for our group of 10 - ages 73 to 7. The steps up/down to the house weren’t as bad as I was expecting, and they were lit at night as well. We rented a boat for the week and kept it at the house dock - worked out so well. We loved sitting on the patio and out on the dock chairs. Super clean and functional - had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and although we were there in August, the house never got too hot, we were always comfortable."

"An awesome property to relax in and be away from the hustle and bustle of life. It's very quiet all day and night. Beautiful lake views. The only distractions you may have are the ones you bring. House sleeps 10 but we only had 5 people staying at the cabin and we were comfortable. Hope you decide to book this house because you won't regret it."
