"The room was very clean and smelled good. The building smelled good as well. The grounds were covered in pine cones and needles. The housekeeping staff when we were arriving to our room were accommodating. I asked for another bath towel and they asked if we needed anything else. We didn’t know yet cause we hadn’t really gotten into the room. I have long hair so I usually need 2. The room was comfortable, the pillows were not they’d been washed so they were very clumpy. Next time I will bring my own pillow. I would have liked to have a towel bar next to the sink, if someone is in the shower or at the toilet you don’t want to have to go in there to get the hand towel you hung up and that area is very small. You’d be stepping over the person on the toilet to get the towel. A hook or towel bar by the sink would be great. The heat and A/C worked great. We only had a tiny trash can by the sink. Girlies need a trash can by the toilet. Another trash by the fridge and microwave would have been great. If you’re providing a fridge and microwave you should provide another trash. The fridge was nice. After I went to the front desk they did provide some trash bags but tried to refuse to come get the full bags. When the front desk agent brought us fresh towels I handed her the trash. No soap in the shower, no ice bin liner, no hair dryer. The sound machine didn’t work, lighting and outlets were great,no road or property noise at all. The sugar/creamers in the lobby were great and stocked well"
BEAUTIFUL ELK MOUNTAIN RANCH ADJOINS OVER 2 MILLION ACRES OF NATIONAL FOREST!
10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderful property! This trip surpassed our expectations. We traveled with family from 66-years to nine-months old. The property offered something for everyone. It was well stocked with all we needed and more. That goes for kitchen, bedrooms, baths, and grounds. The smoking grill worked beautifully and we used it often, along with the fire pit. This was one of the best, most enjoyable vacations our family has taken. The hosts were warm and inviting and easy to communicate with. We can't wait for our next visit."
Panoramic Coeur D'Alene Lake View - 5 Minutes to Town
10/10 Excellent
"This place was located very close to the lake and the view was beautiful.
There is a 20+ mile walking/bike trail right up the road. It's easy to get to. We had a ton of fun.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing time away from the grind."
"Amazing property with incredible views. House has good air conditioning, and plenty of sleeping space. Only downside to the property is the lack of shades (sunlight is great but being woken up at 5am with the sun was tough."
Private lakeside A-frame cabin w/ hot tub, beach, docks, games... 4 season fun!
10/10 Excellent
"The glowing reviews for this rental didn’t mislead. The host, Brian, was the most communicative and thorough I have worked with. Very considerate, prompt, personable. This cabin is very small, but is somehow able to pack a ton of features into a hundred nooks and cozy corners. The best way to describe is like a Berenstain Bear’s house. Really fun personality and eclectic rustic and nostalgic art and decor. It is funky as opposed to high-end, but not at all like you’re roughing it.
We rented the bunk house as well. We ended up with 13 people and we were all very comfortable. The two couches in the living room are not actually futons, but trundle daybeds, so you are sleeping in actual mattresses and very comfy. I was surprised at how accommodating the sleeping was given the size. The bathroom is so tiny but somehow feels totally spacious (again, a magical Berenstain Bears type use of space) as does the loft area. Nice big window with lake view from there!
Fire pit is really spacious and has tons of seating. Large hot tub was really nice. Multiple outdoor tables and benches plus grill and smoker.
Lots of towels provided. Absolutely beautiful lake shore area with a smattering of paddle boards, kayaks, canoe, lounge chairs and really nice doc. The staircase leading down is actually like a lovely little steep hike with a stopping point you can sit and watch the sunset.
Note you do have to cross the road to get to the lake. The cabin is not actually up against the lake so be aware."
"The place was great. Despite the weather we had a wonderful time. View was amazing from the back deck. After an afternoon of fishing in the rain it was a relief to come home to a nice warm environment. Would stay again at a moments notice. "
