"Room was clean if not a bit dated. The motel is being remodeled so only half the motel was available during my stay. Debra at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, im happy it was sausage patties instead of the gross squishy links at most hotels. The best part? Room 218, the bed was probably in the top 3 best motel beds Ive ever slept in. The sheets were soft, the pad added just an extra bit of comfort on an overall medium firm extremely comfie bed. Down the hill is a Waffle House, next door down the hill, McDonakds. Bojangles, gas station, and Wendys acroos the street."

"The cabin was in excellent condition and well stocked with essentials. You only had to bring your own food, of course. Cooking equipment, toiletries, detergents, etc all provided. Communication with the owner was within minutes before and during our stay. An all around great experience. "

"We had a great stay! Secluded and quiet. We were there while the restaurant was closed which was unfortunate but probably kept the property from being as busy as it could be. Will definitely consider going back for future trips. We ate dinner in Elkin and Wilkesboro. Great restaurants in both towns and super close to Stone Mountain for a solid day of hiking/site seeing. 100% recommend."
