"From the moment the taxi let us out we felt we were in good hands, all the people working at the hotel were so helpful and friendly so much so we felt like we belonged there ( and so didn’t want to leave). Everything was so clean and our room was spotless. Pool and poolside was such a lovely area to relax in overlooking the beach at Truolos with a very short option to get there, though a little steep down to the beach which was, like most of the island, a lovely place to relax. And a swim in the crystal clear water was so cathartic after the normal working drudgery in the previous months at home! Although the hotel was a little outside the area with tavernas at Truolos it was a short walk if necessary, which helped after dinner! There was also a very regular bus service all along the front operating at approx. 10 minute intervals. Food at the hotel bar was freshly made, tasty and plentiful (pizzas were far too big for one- but I tried!), with drink service good as well and all very reasonably priced. All in all I loved staying at this hotel and the island on the whole as they were both well beyond my expectations. A caution to be had though for those with lower mobility due to hillside location and change in height between pool and accommodation although there is an external lift from road level to pool and then another from pool to most of the accommodation ( I would advise communicating with Spyros if you were concerned in that respect)."

"A lovely property with really welcoming staff who made our stay a joy. Good location to easily hop on the bus at Stop 19 to get to Koukounaries Beach or Skiathos Town. Plenty of great restaurants nearby to walk to and shops to grab any essentials from. Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we go back to Skiathos. We stayed in the Two Bedroom apartment, which was perfect for 4 of us."

Special shout out to the wonderful staff especially Rula who works in the shop who gave us great tips on places to visit and eat in the town. it was an absolute dream holiday. We up graded our room on arrival and got a suite with sea view a jacuzzi. Love G&T"

"Lovely hotel, well maintained. We had a family room with private pool which gave us lots of space. Views stunning. Breakfast delicious and varied. Very close to the bus route to the town and beaches. Down side would be lack of pavements down to the shops but road was pretty quiet. Loads of restaurant options near by. Very easy as gratefully the locals spoke fluent English!"

" Everything is excellent. This place feels like a home away from home. The property has a nice beachfront view, walkable to the supermarket restaurants, and is a five-minute drive from the port. Jon is an excellent host, he is approachable , kind and very accommodating. I really appreciate him letting us checked in early. I highly recommend Azalea Studio. "

"Overall, a very good stay in a lovely hotel with amazing staff and lovely views. Pro's; Very cheap hotel and what is on offer greatly outweighs the price. The staff are incredible, anything that was requested was adhered to and offered everything they could to help. A lovely pool and jacuzzi available at all times. Lovely views. Great location away from the hustle and bustle but with shops, bars and restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Very nice sized rooms for the price paid. Very efficient air con. Cons; If you're not into walking the hill up to the hotel can be a bit much, we were fine with it, but i would recommend a quad or a car if you struggle with steep hills. No breakfast or food options, but enough amenities around that this isn't an issue. The greek sanitary system (not the hotels fault, but due to other inconsiderate families constantly flushing toilet paper down the loo, our bathroom flooded which was rather unpleasant, but the staff were amazing in how they dealt with this) Pro's outweigh the cons but a landslide and the staff are an asset to the hotel. We had an amazing stay and if we ever come back to Skiathos we wouldn't hesitate to book here again, maybe just in a different room due to the ignorant other guests. "

"I've been coming to Skiathos for many years and this is exactly the type of accommodation I enjoy. Easy, simple, clean, polite/helpful staff and just 3-5 minute walk from the beach (with easy access to the water taxi into town). It's quiet but if you wanted a bar or tv for sports there are two locations less than 2 minutes away. I would also say the room was bigger than most standard studio rooms in Skiathos. For reference, I'm 29 and stayed here with my partner in September and have been to the island for 25 years. I would absolutely stay here again! "
