"Perfect communication with hostess - prompt replies bur not intrusive. Truly outstanding location right on the water. Quiet and secluded. Well appointed kitchen. Close to all the hiking and restaurants we love. Roomy enough. A shower with more flow would be very nice but probably can't be accommodated on a private septic system. Snug and warm in chilly weather. Good firewood provided for private fire ring."

The house itself had many nice touches: a lovely front porch and upper deck, a comfortable open living/dining/kitchen area, a fireplace, and even comfortable beds. I thought having just one shower might be tricky, but it worked out fine for our group of five adults. The owner was lovely and communicative, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Overall, great value-we would definitely stay here again!"
