"Using the shower over the bath the water was not draining even thiugh the pug was open, i had to pull it right out for the bath to empty and then i realised it was because it was blocked with thick hairs so had not had a proper clean in a while. Other than that it was a lovely place to stay, comfortable and welcoming. It had all you needed including a washing machine and dishwasher. This makes life easier especially when you are on holiday."

"Lovely cottage in Greystoke. Very nice outdoor swimmingpool nearby. Not far from a lot of nice places to visit in the neighbourhood. We visited the house of Beatrix Potter, it was very special. Nice house when you travel Sith your dog."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The listing said it had a hot tub but when we arrived it didn’t. I read after that the external company listed it incorrectly. The only down side was the property wasn’t cleaned very well - old used contact lenses around the desk and bedside table and there was hairs on the bathroom shelf. I did a quick clean myself and throughly enjoyed the rest of our week the location was perfect and our lodge was next to the pond which was lovely."

"I wouid recommend this property but would make sure other guests jnow there is nothing within walking distance and a car is needed to get ro the nearest pub/supermarket. The property was lovely but the blinds needed dusting, there were dirty towels in the washing machine and the laminate on the tables was taped up."

"Cant fault any aspect of our stay. From the beginning to the end it was excellent. Sarah is an amazing host and the communication from booking the property till the end of our stay was 5*. Antler Lodge is an excellent choice, we found everything we needed and more. We loved the theme and the little touches that made us feel at home. I would recommend to anyone.Thank you"

"Lake view cottage is a loving place to stay , very clean well maintained very comfortable , great location not far from Keswick or Cockermouth, We had a issue with the boiler not working rang Keswick cottage emergency number waited for someone to ring us back but 4 hour later no one did , with not having hot water or heating we thought someone would ring us back that night or the next day but no one did ,"

"I loved the Rothay Garden. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Excellent food for breakfast and dinner plus lunch from the bar. My room was lovely, overlooking the river with a balcony. Comfy bed and really nice linens which is important to me! All positive, I would highly recommend and I’d love to return. Thank you!"

"Lovely hotel, currently undergoing refurbishment. But no impact on experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches in the room. I have already recommended it to several people and I will certainly return. We were a family of 5 and the kids also remarked on how impressive it was, they enjoyed playing tennis and having a swim after dinner. Food was wonderful with an excellent choice, we enjoyed both our dinner and breakfast. *Highly recommend *"

"Our third stay in this hotel. Staff lovely and helpful and food excellent although really don’t like buffet style breakfast. Bedroom would benefit from an update- carpet I’ll fitting, no full length mirror. Bed comfortable. Bathroom lovely and shower worked well. Choice to decide if you want your room serviced or not."
