"Staff was very friendly and helpful. A lot of smiles and polite greetings as we passed the staff. We loved how you needed the room key to activate the elevators and get to your floor it made us feel very safe. It was quiet aside from the construction across the street. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh not like cleaning products. "

"Parking was easy and safe but there was no elevator, making getting luggage to the 2nd floor a bit of a challenge. I stayed for 2 nights and while my room was cleaned, they didn't make the bed. Parts of the walls in our hallway were open and marked off with caution tape. "

"Such a great place and close to literally everything - hence the name! Loved that they give you a glass water carafe to refill for your room - filtered water machine on every floor! Loved the rooms and beautiful ambiance hotel. "

"Sink would not drain. Could not get staff to fix it. On our second day we were out most the day. Room service had been in the room because there were fresh towels. There was also a fresh bag of trash from another room left on our table. Also, the beds were not made. Staff seemed untrained as we checked in."

"We called for an early check-in twice (2:00 pm) and when we got there our rooms were not ready. Even at 3:00, which is the normal check-in time, they were not ready. We had to get ready for a wedding so it made it difficult. Other than that, the property was ok. Not worth the $250/night rate we paid."

"We are very disappointed with our stay. Despite requesting daily room service, it was only provided once, which did not meet our expectations at all. Additionally, safety is a major concern. The downtown area felt unsafe, with a noticeable presence of homeless individuals around the property. It often seemed like they could enter the hotel whenever staff were not paying attention. There are no proper security measures in place—anyone can access the elevators, and the parking garage is completely open, allowing unrestricted entry. We even experienced an incident that required police intervention, which made us feel even more uncomfortable and unsafe during our stay. Considering the high room rates, we expected a much higher standard of service and security. To make matters worse, there is also an additional charge for parking, which feels unreasonable given the lack of safety and overall experience.To top it off the train pass every hour and the noise is a major issue.
