Well placed hotel
We arrived looking to park the car in teeming rain. Upon entering the rear of the hotel we thought what have we booked here! Checking in at reception the place was full to the brim. The guy who checked me in explaining there was a bird show on in the rear of the hotel. There was parking at the rear of the hotel, and going out of the front of the hotel saw it was well placed for shopping, bars etc. We had a lovely meal and the service was excellent. Breakfast was even better. Hotel a bit shabby in places, but comfortable.

We had a lovely week at this hotel. Our room was more than adequate, with a fridge and safe. The breakfast was ample, with hot food available too. There are plenty of shops in the area, all within walking distance.

Cozy and nicely located
Cozy in heart of the town. Restaurant was good with lots of locals of all ages. Parking was also easy!!

This hotel is well located on the main street in Elst. I stayed in the room with a balcony. The hotel is keenly priced and had everything required for a work/family trip. The staff were very helpful. I loved the breakfast bar.

Most unusual layout bang in the centre of this delightful little village. The lift is a challenge but works!! The staff are delightful and we could not recommend it more highly.

had a great Stay
Very friendly environment, almost like home, inexpensive drinks and food, excellent kitchen, the butterballs were Delicious, sat with my family often on the terrace, talking while we were drinking out of their good selection of wine. Very helpful staff, friendly kind en great Service. Will be back soon.

I stayed in room 236 which was very small. The bed took up most of the room and the bathroom was tiny also. I travelled alone but I cannot see how 2 people could stay in that room due to the size.

The intertior was generally shabby, worn and tired looking. We were somewhat disappointed on arrival with the general ambiance and lack of efficiency. Room generally adequate, but shower overflowed into the toilet area with every use as the doors were inadequate to their task. Generally adequate, but needs updating and overall attention. The picture of the front gives an optimistic view, therefore the disappointment is greater than it might otherwise be. Breakfast was fine.

Great staff, can't help enough. Very friendly. Hotel is on the main road with its own private car park to the rear of the hotel. Close to all shops, cafes & Bars etc. although it has its own excellent restaurant facilities,

Comfortable Koteki and friendly staff, clean room
The hotel was very accommodating in making changes to my booking at the last minute. Staff are friendly and the food was good. The room can with a buffet breakfast.

This Property had a nice Restaurant and a great Breakfast but we were put on the top floor during a Heat Wave and we were so miserably hot and had to open the patio door only to be kept awake on Friday night by a bunch of partying drunk people. We had to take 3 cold showers in the night just to survive. They did provide a fan that was not strong enough. They also had a weird 4 inch rise to the bathroom and when I was pulling my luggage into the room I backed in and tripped over it and got a huge bruise on my arm. This was the worst sleep we had on our whole trip. Parking was great though.

Little sleep, good accomodation
No air conditioning in the room. My window faced main Street and there were a number of people at the restaurant/pub on the main floor who had a bit too much to drink and thought they could sing well until 1 in the morning. Not a great sleep.they did accomodate me by allowing me to park my bicycle in doors.

Nice central hotel
Stayed with family our room was great as we got a free upgrade but second room was just standard & very small & very hot -had to have 2 fans ! Definitely need an upgraded room to have a comfortable stay in this hotel

Hold The Bridge!
Visiting THE "Bridge Too Far" at Arnhem. Very "homey" hotel. My room was small but adequate. Very Friendly Staff and Proprietor! Includes Great Breakfast! I arrived too late to sample their dinner, but nice bar and large restaurant with great outdoor seating. Very Good overall value!

Good choice, great area
Nice hotel, restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced too. Breakfast buffet is nice but only starts at 8am on weekends which may be late for some. Wifi works great. Rooms are arranged in kind of a weird way with long corridors and small stairs leading to them. Apart from that everything is good, the area is extremely convenient as you ae right in the middle of a shopping district including nearby grocery stores. Pretty church from the 15th century a few steps away from the hotel too.

A good base for visiting various locations
The hotel is small but well established, with nice bar /restaurant. Elst is not so big so we ate at the hotel for 2 of our 4 nights there. Ribs are excellent, and the range of special beers (bottled and draft) is good. We used Elst as a base to visit many towns North and South, including Arnhem, Apeldoorn, Nijmegen and Roermond. All within 75 minutes.

Splendid short break.
Great hotel. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, friendly staff. An excellent choice at breakfast. The Wi-Fi was reliable, strong stable and automatic once checked in. There was an electronic safe and a small fridge in the room.My bicycle spent the nights in the function room, and was equally content.

My first visit to Holland.
This was a very good hotel, centrally located with an excellent restaurant. My room on the second floor was spotlessly clean and well stocked with toiletries. As I was on a motorcycle the staff went out of their way to find me a safe and secure place for my bike. Elst itself is well worth a visit if you find yourself in this direction.

Very pleasant hotel. Central location. Breakfast was good but disturbed sleep as the beds were far too soft. More like trampolines actually! We also found the German type toilet rather alarming although it was nice to have a bath

Family stopover
Lovely, friendly hotel in a very pretty, quiet village. Staff were helpful and we found the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was included and was a nice range of hot / cold food. a card operated side door meant that we could access the room without having to go through the busy cafe area.
