"Welcoming staff and clean room that staff would happily clean daily if you wish. Bathroom getting a bit tired, eg. Toilet seat came loose (but was promptly fixed next morning), Bathtub and shower showing signs of wear but functional. Breakfast was good with yoghurts and cold boiled eggs on offer, as well as large waffle machine with blueberry and plain flavours. Hot food was typically sausage or bacon and scrambled or cooked egg. Cereals and variety of bread on offer too. My room did face the train line from which I got awoken a couple of times during my week there by some early morning trains honking their horns. Something to bear in mind if a light sleeper. Overall good experience and would stay at again."

"Great location for our needs. We were there on family business. The house was a welcome and restful retreat after a busy day. It’s special to have a lake house in the middle of suburbia! The lake view is very special and the deck enjoyable. Kathy, the hostess, is kind and helpful. The furniture is warn and not fancy but the house is pleasant and welcoming."

"The space we needed was exactly what this place offered. The host was very responsive through the initial booking all the way till we left the home. The location was also the best thing we could have asked for. Minutes only from gas, groceries, public transportation, entertainment. We didn’t have to make long drives which really was amazing. The accommodations were also wonderful, plenty of towels and blankets. Fully furnished home with a great kitchen. You can tell the host put time into considering different types of guests will stay at the home and that made our stay feel like we were at home."

"Spent three days over thanksgiving. Excellent property with everything you need to cook and relax afterwards. The tranquil setting is just what you need after a busy thanksgiving day. Close to Seattle 30 min and stores and shops in Kent 5 min yet you feel your out in the countryside.Mike and Virginia are great hosts"
