Top Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area Hotel Reviews
Motel 6 Pendleton, OR
8/10 Good
"The exterior door on room 103 is askew. As such, air and light streams through a large gap. Hinge meeds to be adjusted and weatherstripping added.
A couple hairs in the tub. Zero excuse for that and has happened 3 times on stays there in recent years.
Mentioned both issues to the woman at checkout.
Do like the new light switches by the bed. On future projects, I would put them on wall beside the bed, rather than above the bed to make them easier to reach but they were much better than lamps in that situation.
With that being said it was the best room I've had there."
"Room was clean and large with plenty of seating areas was very nice. Out of control noisy neighbors who ran their TV all night long but not the fault of the staff or the motel."
"Had a problem with coffee maker and was told to plug into another outlet. The maintenance worker, Chris was very friendly and helpful with some other stuff. "
"The staff was nice and helpful. Beds were clean and nice. That's about all the good I can say. The bar was closed. The restaurant was closed. Spa broken pool closed. Internet was not working. If all you need is a bed for the night then cool this place is for you but as a frequent traveler for work the ease to get food and the relaxation of a working spa/pool is normally why I stay places and this was not it."
"My son and I pulled into parking lot about 4 pm - I thought the place had closed down. We only saw two other cars in lot. Homeless people at corner of parking lot and at corner of street. Super depressing and we don’t feel safe so we left and never checked in.
Called Expedia to inquire about a refund. They called Oxford manger who said “no” because we never checked in. Correct!
At last Expedia worked with us but hotel did nothing. Would not recommend! "
"Easy Parking and clean room. Towels were super fluffy and bed was comfortable. Great stop for a one night stay. Would suggest some black out curtains and a hook to hang your towel."
"Obviously under construction, which is both fine and understandable, but everything felt unfinished. Decent room; horrible bed. Staff was okay, just seemed tired and slightly bothered when addressed. Breakfast okay; small/rushed selection. I don't think we'll stay here again."
