"The owner has made a real effort on this traditional motel . We liked the location - close to bars , restaurants, shops and river walk but not noisy . Building has been repainted, bathrooms upgraded etc . Large room perfect for a short trip/stopover "

"I like this hotel chain normally but this one was undergoing renovations and had a smell to it. Had to grab breakfast and eat in room, no dining area, but still thankful for the food. Felt safe staying here while hauling a trailer and parked on the street outside of parking lot. Would stay again if in the area, and renovated complete. Staff were awesome."

"Mike the chef was the best part of my stay. Not only was he the chef, but was also the bartender that night. He handled both jobs with a personality the made everyone smile and feel at home. The salad with grilled chicken was superb 👌 and he even offered to make chicken for my dog. My room was clean, comfortable and i look forward to returning soon."

"The exterior door on room 103 is askew. As such, air and light streams through a large gap. Hinge meeds to be adjusted and weatherstripping added. A couple hairs in the tub. Zero excuse for that and has happened 3 times on stays there in recent years. Mentioned both issues to the woman at checkout. Do like the new light switches by the bed. On future projects, I would put them on wall beside the bed, rather than above the bed to make them easier to reach but they were much better than lamps in that situation. With that being said it was the best room I've had there."

"Room was clean and large with plenty of seating areas was very nice. Out of control noisy neighbors who ran their TV all night long but not the fault of the staff or the motel."
