"This was a wonderful base for exploring Munich. Grünwald is not in the city center but it is a lovely and quiet area that makes the travel time well worthwhile. It also has some good restaurant options (we love Kritamos). This apartment was perfect for our needs - it was even more spacious and nicely appointed than it seemed in the listing. The hosts were terrific - quick to respond, very welcoming and hospitable, and even offered to drive us to the tram stop with our luggage upon our departure....

The hotel is on a street with strip clubs and casinos and the alley way to the hotel from the street felt unsafe (drunk/ drugged groups of people every time we walked through) and there’s no security in the hotel - you don’t need a key card to go in the lift or corridors. BUT once you’re in the hotel it’s great! Friendly staff, clean, spacious room and delicious breakfast. It’s also a great location near the main station. I haven’t knocked a star off for the shady street and would stay there again."
