This is not an exaggeration from the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property was in a disgraceful condition. "I stay at the hotels nearly every week for business and personal reasons so I have seem my fair share of the hotels. I was very impressed with this hotel. It is located conveniently just off the motorway and next to the shopping centre yet the hotel was so quiet. When we have checked in they had big wedding but again the botel seems peaceful. Plenty of parking, great hotel spa and room was clean, spacious and all the amenities you would expect at the higher end hotels without 5 star hotel prices. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. We didnt have food at the hotel so cant comment in that.This is definitely going to be my choice of hotel next time we are in the area."

"The staff were very helpful , I stayed in and ate in the dinning room the food was very good . The only thing that let the hotels down was the overall condition of the hotel was poor , Window rotten and just painted over inside the room the windows could have done with a good clean. Needs a few quid spending on the hotel to bring it up to scratch"

"The hotel staff at the reception were very helpful and so welcoming. However there was one member of staff in the laundry room who came across like she couldn’t be bothered helping when I asked her for a clean towel for the swimming pool area because the one she pointed me towards smelt really damp so I wanted a clean one and she just ignored me so I helped myself. The hotel- the cleanliness was not great. The room was quite outdated and the bed sheets had this damp smell. My daughters had a foldable bed and their mattress sunk in when they slept on it so they could literally feel the bed rail underneath but because we were just there for one night and it was late we didn’t complain. Breakfast was good it was a buffet style and had a good variety. Overall, we had a nice stay for the night as we used the swimming pool too. However, I wouldn’t return due to the lack of hygiene/cleanliness. The damp smelling sheets and towels really put me off 😑"
