"This is a fantastic hotel. We loved the location. The front porch is very relaxing. We loved both restaurants and the staff at both. And our room was a perfect size for 2 people. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel."

"The property itself was very nice, clean & well maintained. There was construction going on which was not noted on the website or in any of the communications I received which was a negative. There were 4 restaurant options but all served a very limited menu with bar type food. A wider variety would be nice since you have to drive at least 20-30mminutes to get to other dining options. The water park has an additional fee which is also not listed on the reservation site despite pictures of the site being included in the listing. Should be included considering the cost or the nightly rate. Lastly, the resort had the nerve to charge a fee for extra towels & sheets. Was told to wash them in the provided w/d if I didn't want to pay the fee. Not acceptable considering nightly rate & the fact that I'm on vacation not at home doing my weekly cleaning & laundry....defeats the whole concept of vacationing."

"The location and price are great for our Rt. 11 yard crawl weekend. We’ve stayed before and it was fine but our room this time had a lot of dead bugs on the floor and the bathroom and towels were not very clean."

"Quiet, relaxing stay. Flowing water and gentle breezes contribute to the calm. Having the hot tub under the overhang was a plus as it kept you out of the sun on very hot days. The owners responded quickly when we informed them that a circuit breaker had tripped and taken out several sockets."

"This was our second stay at the Hobbit House, and it was just what we needed. All we did was relax on the screened-in porch, relax in the hot tub, and relax watching movies. It was perfect in every way. The Hobbit House was spotlessly clean, comfy, cozy, and just a delight to visit. Will definitely want to stay again/100"
