Cute, clean hotel. Owners Nadia and Thomas are incredibly warm and hospitable. Located on the main shopping street in Engelberg. Easy walk to the train station and ski lift. Also very accessible bus service to the lifts.

The staff were very kind and helpful-- they even let us store our bags in the office while we explored the area on Sunday after we checked out. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the location was very convenient.

Best place to stay in Engelberg

Lovely service and neat and nice hotel that is perfectly located with walking distance to everything. Really good breakfast as well and Nadia and Tomas does that little extra to make the stay perfect. The hotel is not new, but it is clean, warm, have all you need and the beds are comfy. I now have a new favorite place to stay when I come back to Engelberg.

The view is outstanding. The food, both for breakfast and for dining was excellent. However, the wifi was down for the entire 4 nights that I stayed there. I went to the Visitor Center for free wifi. They were waiting for parts where an electrical storm knocked it out. The staff was not friendly and welcoming. If I had a question I was always treated like I was inconveniencing them where everything I asked or did was wrong and my fault. So I just stayed away from the people that worked there and it was fine. The morning breakfast woman was fantastic.

Traditionshotel in Ortszentrum

Historisches Hotel in der Fussgängerzone. Die Atmosphäre ist Alpin mit traditionellem Alpen-Flair. Sehr freundliches Management und Personal und sehr gute Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind nicht gross aber bieten guten mittelklasse Komfort, einige mit Balkon (gegen Aufpreis).
