"I wanted a place in the mountains and Schwand Gusthaus delivered. Woke up to a scene out of a movie. Tall mountains, green pastures and tinkling bells on cows. Myelie and Patrick are great hosts. We had dinner in their restaurant one night. Excellent food! I am planning to stay here again this winter. It is a shared bathroom situation so if that is an issue look elsewhere. Beds were very comfortable. And Engelberg is a lovely little town. "

"This is a wonderful property and the photos on line do not do justice as the house is so much more beautiful and spacious. We were a group of 15 enjoying skiing in Engelberg and the house fit us to perfection. John was absolutely marvellous helping us in any way necessary we cannot be thankful enough. "Great location. Luxury apartment with SPA in the building. Bar and restaurant nearby. Free shuttles and buses stop within few steps. Although it’s easy walk to gondola, train station and town if you’re up for it. "
