Charming hotel, cute rooms. The staff are very kind and helpful. Rooms were kept neat and clean everyday. Breakfast offered was nice, there was an assortment of options so it was difficult to find something to eat. The location of the hotel was wonderful. Just steps away from the lake. The location is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth and easy, and my room was beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the coffee and amenities on the second floor, as well as the in-room touches and the daily housekeeping service. The quiet terrace with its beautiful view was another highlight. Even the small gestures, like the water bottle they gave me upon departure, made a difference. I truly felt at home during my stay and only have positive things to say about this place.

Excellent service, a beautiful old building and a great location. The room was clean and quiet, even on the lake view side, which is on a busy street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is a 25 minute walk along the beautiful lake path or a short bus ride from the center. Breakfast was fresh and very nice, especially the special poached egg dish. One suggestion I would make is better lighting in the rooms. There is a ceiling chandelier but bright, jarring bare bulb fixtures by each bed. Those need a lampshade or something more directional. There was also no lights near the bathroom mirrors so shaving and makeup, etc. are difficult. Also the bathroom had a window with only a sheer curtain so for privacy you have to pull down the exterior metal shade, which blocks natural light into the room. If the lighting conditions don’t bother you, this is a great place. Would stay again.

The front desk staff were very helpful with directions and super nice in every interaction we had with them. Quiet lounge area to visit. Our room was comfortable. We loved the old hotel feel wlith modern art. This is a hotel for those that appreciate historic architecture and relaxed visiting.
