We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and the views were phenomenal. There were not a lot of dining options but the ones there were good! A quaint area worth visiting!

Great location

The Ocean Sands, hotel, is in a great location, right, in the heart of Inniscrone. The views, over the beach, are great, it has a lovely bar and restaurant.

I had 3 kids and we stayed in the family room and the stay was very nice, clean, staff friendly. The only down fall is there is only one price €15 for breakfast. 1 child had a croissant and this cost me €15 I think there should be a cheaper price for kids.

Fab hotel

Enniscrone May BH 2025

We had booked for 1 night in Ocean Sands but Enniscrone so beautiful & thankfully there was availability in the B&B next door where we could avail of the ocean Sands facilities so we checked in for a 2nd night.. Family gathering but unfortunately 2 couples with very tired & young children didn't get into their rooms till 6pm following an afternoon on the beach ... Overall, v welcoming hotel,couldn't fault our stay & will definitely be back there. Dog friendly which was a decider for some families.

Family Trip

Hotel is perfectly placed for the beach and exploring. Dinner in the restaurant was great and breakfast was brilliant with lots of variety. Staff were really helpful. Family room was really spacious and a comfortable quiet sleep. Beautiful hotel, however if you look too close, you'll see some parts could really do with a little bit of tlc. Overall a fabulous hotel.

Really nice hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the ocean sands hotel. We're a family of five and the kids really enjoy they're stay, we only stayed one night but would of loved to stay longer. Location is gorgeous, hotel is right next to the beach so excellent for little ones. Had dinner in the restaurant which was stunning, prices were great for the quality of food we were served. My only negative is that our room was fairly cold when we arrived but it warmed up quick enough once we put on the heaters. Lovely hotel staff in all areas. Id definitely recommend a stay here.

The staff are very pleasant, the lobby and restaurant are nice, however once you get to your room it’s clear the property needs some deep cleaning and/or renovation. All in all not bad, just a bit steep in price for the quality of the room.

Hotel good and staff very efficient and welcoming. Room fairly standard. Iron iron board hairdryer etc but no shaver/makeup mirror. Towels replaced but empty water bottles not removed or bed made. Window blind damaged did not use in case further damaged. Evening meal excellent. Breakfast also very good but tea/coffee and plate clearance could be quicker. Overall a good experience

Property in poor repair. No working light in the bathroom. Ceiling paint was peeling. Balcony door would not close. Room was very warm. And biscuits they provided were expired! Do not recommend this hotel.

Nice but not 4*

We had one of the apartments with a balcony detached from the actual hotel and up a flight of stairs. Room was tastefully decorated and bathroom was amazing but needed balcony repairs, replacing dead plants in window boxes and walls in bedroom had a lot of scuffs and high window was filthy with cobwebs. Bed comfortable but provided with an oil filled radiator didn’t make sense as temp gauge on wall? Nice touches like nespresso machine and mini fridge (which is noisy) but be prepared for no WiFi connection as we tried for entire stay and never got connected . Other thing to be careful with if a function on these apartments can’t hide from the noise and there was a lot last night so always pre check before booking

Please fix room thermostat.

All good except we couldn’t control temperature in our room. We had to call front desk to turn down the heat each day. Also both Friday and Saturday had wedding receptions and they were their priority. Restaurant dinner was only Fair with slow service. We confirmed reservation and when we arrived were told we didn’t have one.

I became very sick during my visit. I most likely had food poisoning. I am a physician. I had terrible nausea and vomiting. I left the room in very good condition except for the vomit. The hotel charged me an exorbitant cleaning penalty. Sometines people get sick. That's the reality of being in the hospitaity business. I find this to be unethical and reflecting poor values.
