"This hotel is tricky. We got rooms on the 3rd floor and they were horrible and not deserving a stay. We spoke to Expedia who called the hotel and they immediately changed our rooms to the first floor which is impeccable. The facilities are great and the breakfast as well. The staff is amazing and very nice. Overall, I would recommend this hotel but make sure you ask to stay on the first floor until they renovate the 3rd."

"We stayed for 1 night at the start of a road trip round Italy. The hotel is only 30-40 minutes drive from Milan Linate airport, even in rush hour traffic. The receptionist was friendly and spoke good English, check-in was simple. We stayed in one of the annex rooms and enjoyed having a dedicated parking space, which felt secure for our hire car. The room itself was large and well soundproofed with a lovely modern shower - good water pressure and hot water, toiletries provided although it was an all-in-one shampoo and shower gel with no conditioner, but that’s probably about right for the price point. The bed was big (probably a UK superking) and comfortable. The decor was a bit strange with large mirrors everywhere, including on the ceiling(?!) and the only actual problem was that the WiFi didn’t really work, luckily we had mobile data and were only there for 1 night, otherwise we would have struggled. We walked to a local pizzeria and the neighbourhood seemed nice. It was a bit of a round about way to get in and out of the annex on foot due to all the locked gates, but it made it feel very secure at least. Breakfast was good, there was a large variety of options and self service drinks. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a stop over on the way from the airport towards the lakes (Como town approx 30 min drive away)."

"-Room cleaned every day -Staff was friendly -Air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly When too hot you can not reset the gage for the right temperature -the hair dryer was making noise and it was dangerously hot -hygiene, I asked for new tea cup, the cleaner took my cups in bathroom washed and gave it to me. I was shocked, I don’t know what to say. -toilets bowl was clean but the back of the toilet seat yellow poo stains, hairs. And I saw they were cleaning the room and all the new bad sheets were on floor when they making look nice and tidy. -at back of the cafeteria they don’t seems like have a dishwasher, staff was washing up plates and cups a quick job. After seeing all this I don’t feel comfortable eating, or sleeping. So! I asked not to clean my room and I bought my own products to clean surfaces and toilet and bath. I bought my own bed sheet and slept on it, because my skin coming out with small spots. I gave 4 star because staff was nice and welcoming but the main points of hygiene was really missing."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marinoni. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly. It is easy to get to Como by train, the station is about a 2 minute walk away. The breakfast was good. The only downside was the wifi signal, it was difficult to connect and the signal was weak."
