Book Retreat
My four friends and I stayed at the house for our first annual book retreat. It was an awesome weekend. The view is incredible. The house and property are clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. And we absolutely loved the short walk to Chautauqua Park to search for beach glass. The house is gorgeous and we are already planning another weekend for next year at the property.

Loved this house. It made you feel like you were home not just some vacation rental. Loved the coffee bar. It was nice to be able to have more then 1 cup of coffee in the a.m. My only negative was no t.v. in the master bedroom. Unfortunately my hubby likes to watch tv in bed before going to sleep so we used a different bedroom. This house delivered in every other way. Could definitely stay here again. 😁

View, view, view!
Couldn't get enough of this view! We were in and out for a quick weekend for our son's White Coat ceremony so we didnt get to spend as much time as we would have liked in the backyard. Would definitely stay again!

Family get away.
My husband and I wanted a get away to spend time with our children and grandson. The house was very clean, had nice amenities, and the setting was very peaceful with a great view of the lake from every where in the house. It was only a 15 minute drive to Presque Isle but had a small private beach just down the road. I would book again with them.

Great House! Amazing Host!
Wanted a unique home for a birthday weekend for my wife. Dreamy Lake delivered! The view is amazing. Sitting there drinking morning coffee could become a habit! Quiet neighborhood was exactly what we were looking for. House is on the small side but the interior finishes are a perfect 10. Host was amazing to work with. Outstanding restaurant recommendations. We had dinner at Colao’s twice. Can’t go wrong there. Highly recommend Dreamy Lake!

Spectacular Views
We enjoyed a perfect stay at this wonderful Lakehouse. Clean and comfortable. The kids would have stayed the whole time at the small beach but there is so much to do in Erie! The towel warmer in the bathroom was an added bonus! The hosts are wonderful with a special gift of a local favorite upon our arrival - makes you feel special!

Beautiful place with incredible views
This property is located right above the water with incredible views. Very peaceful and a short 20 min drive to Presque Isle state park. There is also a small local stone beach within walking distance to enjoy. Very clean home and well appointed.

Best Lake House Ever!
My close friends and I had a wonderful time at the Dreamy Lake House!! The place was beautiful and had everything we needed!! The welcome card was so sweet and the chocolates were delicious! As our last hurrah before going our separate ways, I’m so glad we decided to stay here!!!

Pretty views
The house was clean and provided everyday amenities. There are large windows in every room that provided beautiful views of the lake. The description says "fully fenced in yard" which is not a lie as there is a small section in front fenced in. However, the back yard with a 60 ft cliff is not fenced in. The owner/manager was honest about this in the beginning...We were able to keep the kids at a safe distance but just keep this in mind if you want your kids to be able to roam free. We drove through a pretty rough area on our way in that lead to the property which is located at the entrance of a nicer area/neighborhood. The house supplied what we needed for our short stay.

We have added more details to the description spelling out there is no fence along the cliff in case it is not obvious from the main photo and all the backyard photos. We can’t find it so ask that you please let us know where you read “fully fenced in yard” so that can be updated. Thank you!

BEST TRIP EVER!
If you are thinking of traveling to Lake Erie, look no further and book this home! The moment we walked into the lake house, we knew it was such a perfect find. The entire place was spotless. We could not believe how clean and cozy the home was. The view and backyard was incredible. We watched the sunsets every night and didn’t even leave the house because we just loved hanging by the fire and enjoying each others company! Thank you for the memories!

Perfect weekend getaway
We chose this property to celebrate our moms 60th birthday. The view is amazing and the big yard was perfect for games and sitting out to enjoy the sun. The house itself is beautiful and the windows throughout ensure you’re never missing out on the lake view. Worked great for 8 people, the air mattress they provided is the nicest I’ve ever slept on.

Beautiful spot and perfect for relaxing and catching up with extended family. The windows to the lake made being in any room serene. Loved the ability to sit outside around the solo stove and enjoy the location and the company. Host is extremely helpful and kind.

Perfect for our Family
This house was perfect for our family. Nicely located in a quiet neighborhood, we were able to enjoy many of Erie’s attractions within minutes. Our host provided an ample supply of linens and other basic needs like shampoo, conditioner, and a coffee bar. The living area was perfect for family activities. This is our second stay at this house because we enjoyed it so much last year.

This is a beautiful home, and the view is breathtaking. Close to everything. The furnishings were high quality, and the master bedroom King size bed was so comfortable that we didn't rush to get out of bed in the morning and laid there looking out the expansive window at the water watching sailboats and large ships cruise by.

Fabulous 70 s Friends’ weekend
We had a fabulous weekend celebrating our 70 th birthday and life-long friendship. This house was beautiful , very tasteful decorated, and phenomenal view of the lake. The owners , Janelle and Mike, , stopped by to see us, brought us a golf cart to get to the lake. Our 4 day get-away was special and Mike and Janelle made us feel so welcomed. Dreamy Lake House!
We were looking for something with a water view, and boy did we get it! Even with a few bad weather days we could still see the water and enjoy the house. Beds were better than my own! very comfortable home and setting. Janelle, our host was great and responsive to our questions before and during the rental process. We would return in a heartbeat!

Million dollar view
This property is amazing! The house is very nice and updated. The outside area is phenomenal! The local beach was a rock beach. I wouldn't plan on swimming or spending a beach day there. The beaches on Presque Isle were fantastic. It was about a 25 min drive. Downtown was only about 8 min. I would recommend this property to anyone. The owner was very nice and responsive.

This house and property were absolutely amazing. We were in Erie for a wedding and booked this place to stay. Communication was very easy and the owner was very accommodating. The place had such a homey feel and did not feel like a rental. The sheets were soft, beds were comfy, and everything was extremely clean. There was a grill and fire pit as well as anything you could need in the kitchen. Spectacular views from the back yard and a quiet little neighborhood. 10/10 recommend!

The hosts were amazing and responded quickly to questions. The home was pristine and the amenities were top quality from the welcome chocolate to the plush towels and high quality bedding to the Solo Stove. My husband and twin daughters stayed for four nights In August 2022, we enjoyed the home and especially the lake view. A great way to visit our family and friends in Erie.

This is a lovely house with spectacular lake views! We found the home cozy and comfortable with a lot of attention to detail, from the cool antique furniture pieces to the generous coffee selection. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking, and we enjoyed grilling and using the solo stove. The property is well maintained and very clean. I was not bothered by my baby crawling on the floor, which I can't say of many rental properties! Our seven year old loved the games and specifically wanted me to mention how much she liked the carved acorns on the bed posts in her room. :) Great house for families!

We stayed with our good friends for a long weekend. The house was clean, had everything we needed, the view of the lake was awesome. We drove to the beaches at Presque-Isle which were great. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. We had 2 two year old toddlers, so we definitely had to watch them in the backyard because of the drop-off, but there was plenty of room in the yard for them to play and run around. This place was amazing! I wasn’t sure whether or not to believe the online pictures of the views b/c we all know pictures lie sometimes. 🤣. But it surpassed all expectations! You had a breathtaking view from just about every room in the house. The lake is literally right in the backyard. The house itself was great too. Plenty of room for everyone. Extremely clean. And all the amenities you would need, and then some. The whole family had a great time and we will be sure to stay again next time we are in Erie!

Stunning Lakeside Home
My family and I had a wonderful experience staying here. The house is beautiful. Recently renovated, with large windows putting Lake Erie and the Peninsula on constant center stage, and rightly so. Views are constantly breathtaking. Kitchen has new appliances and is always a hub of activity. AC was excellent. Chairs, sofas, tables are plentiful and accommodating. TV is massive and a big crowd pleaser. Bedrooms number three in count and accommodate ~4 or so adults, from our vantage point. Bathrooms are new and excellent. Lastly, only had one minor issue, that the owner quickly resolved. Can’t wait to stay here again next year!

This was a perfect setting and location for a weekend stay for a family wedding.
This property is amazing. We had our adult children and partners so there were 6 of us. It had a big yard, view was breathtaking and house is beautiful. We wished we could have spent longer than just a weekend.

What a perfect place to stay while in Erie for a family reunion / to celebrate my MIL's birthday. The lake views were fantastic, beds were very comfortable and the back yard was a great spot to sip coffee in the am and cocktails later on! I can't say enough nice things about the home or the host.

My friends and I had an absolutely amazing stay in Janelle’s home. Everything in the house is so clean and well stocked. The rooms have amazing views of the lake and the beds were very comfortable. The views you see of the lake in the pictures (especially at sunset) don’t do it justice in real life. It’s beautiful!!! The home is more residential, but you aren’t far from everything in town. Amazing Views
We rented the house for a long weekend get-away with our immediate family. Communication with the owner beforehand was always prompt and courteous. The house was absolutely beautiful and it was obvious that the owner paid a great deal of attention to all the little details. The views from the yard and panoramic windows were simply perfect and we really enjoyed their new Solo Stove smokeless fire pit. We had a lot of fun and hope to visit again.
