Escales Villa with Luxury Pool

This plush villa is located in Escales and offers a private and heated swimming pool to refresh with a dip. Located close to forest, the well-furnished villa features 4 bedrooms, making it an ideal choice for two families or a group of 8.

You can enjoy solitude walk in the nearby forest at 500 m. Daily essentials are also available at a distance of 500 m. The town centre of Lezignan-Corbières is 9.5 km away. Nearest restaurants are at 500 m so that you can enjoy delicious meals.

This pet-friendly villa can accommodate 2 of your pets for a small fee. You can relax in the terrace with a cuppa, while the kids play with play equipments in garden. Boules court is also there for the active ones. There is a washing machine to take care of your laundry woes and air conditioning to keep you cool. Barbecue and trampoline are other available amenities. Cot and high chair is also available on request.

Vi nød vores tid i villaen, som var meget rummelig og ren, Det var fantastisk for vores gruppe på otte, med nok badeværelser til at undgå morgenrush! Uderummet er dejligt, og vi brugte grillen til nogle sjove familiefester, Området er ret fredeligt, selvom vi tog ind til Lezignan for nogle lokale seværdigheder, Ejerne var imødekommende og hurtige til at svare, hvilket gjorde vores samlede oplevelse endnu bedre, Ville bestemt overveje at vende tilbage!

Erg mooie accomodatie dat erg proper was bij aankomst. Alles wat beschreven staat, is aanwezig en was in prima staat - wij misten enkel een parasol en grote badhanddoeken (er waren enkel kleine handdoeken beschikbaar). Weinig op aan te merken dus. Het dorpje zelf is wel wat afgelegen, reken op een kwartier rijden geen en terug naar een goede winkel/bakker (je ben dus een halfuurtje kwijt als je 's morgens vroeg om brood wilt). Voor de rest is het een erg mooie omgeving met erg veel te doen: pittoreske dorpjes, talloze wijngaarden, Carcasonne, Narbonne, Middellandse zee, Canal du Midi... liggen allemaal op 30-40 min autorijden. Ontvangst was wel wat kort en stroef (maar kan natuurlijk aan de Coronamaatregelen liggen).

De woning is zeer rustig en afgelegen. Je hebt je auto nodig (+/- 10km) om naar het volgende dorp te gaan voor boodschappen e.d. Bij aankomst bleek er een lek in het zwembad te zijn, dit kon tijdelijk opgelost worden met de tuinslang wat bij te vullen, hierdoor werd het water wel terug kouder, desondanks het zwembad wel verwarmd is. Wanneer het enkele dagen regent zoals bij ons in september, koelt het water nog meer af... Het perceel en de tuin is ook zeer ruim maar toch niet echt voorzien van een grasperk, het is eerder een klein bosje. De tuin is ook niet volledig omheind. Een bepaald stuk is enkel prikkeldraad, waarbij een kleine hond wel zou kunnen ontsnappen! Overigens was de woning zeer net en goed onderhouden. Zeer ruim met 4 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers. Ik raad het gezinnen met kinderen aan die graag een rustige vakantie willen doorbrengen. Wij hebben een goede vakantie gehad dankzij het goede weer. Hopelijk is het zwembadprobleem snel opgelost!

We waren 2 weken op vakantie met 2 gezinnen (4 volwassenen en 4 kinderen tussen 4 en 7 jaar). Het huis voldeed aan al onze verwachtingen. De airco werkte goed, het zwembad was ideaal van temperatuur en was van ca. 0,8m tot 1,8m diep, de BBQ werkte heel goed, alles was aanwezig... Enkel de matrassen waren wat hard en hier en daar was er een lamp stuk. In ieder geval een heel leuke vakantie gehad!

We werden opgewacht door de beheerder met fles wijn. Huis zag er fris schoon en licht uit echt mooi. 4 ruime slaapkamers en 3 badkamers in de buurt allemaal wijngaarden en wijnhuizen. Zwembad 26 graden en schoon. 8 ligbedjes. Keuken uitgebreid en alles werkt prima. Dorp escales niets te doen wij waren er in oktober. Televisie alle Nederlandse zenders en foxsports 1. Al met al een prima huis zal deze zeker aanraden bij anderen. Top!!

Dit vakantiehuis is fantastisch. heel aangenaam om te vertoeven in de tuin. zwembad heel aangenaam. Airco was erg welkom in het warme weer die we hebben gehad. Zeker de hond kon dit apprecieren. Ook s'avonds was het aangenaam vertoeven aan het zwembad of op het overdekte terras aan het huis. Het huis zelf was heel netjes. Enkel de bedden waren wat hard maar we hebben dit opgelost door 2 matrassen op elkaar te leggen. Wat echter voor ons een minpunt was dat het huis niet goed genoeg was omheind. Er was een deel dat enkel afgesloten was door prikkeldraad en delen waar de hond onder kon. De rest was wel mooi afgesloten met draad. Jammer dus dat onze hond niet los kon. Na overleg met de eigenaars is er beloofd dat dit probleem ging worden aangepakt. Was heel jammer want voor de rest is dit een zalige plek.

Aankomst en ontvangst volgens afspraak, reden met minibus en enige minpunt was de wat moeilijke toegang (zandweg in slechte staat en vrij smalle poort die toegang geeft tot het terrein). Mooie en goede accommodatie centraal gelegen voor het doel van de vakantie (wijnhuizen bezoeken) Corbieres/Minervois/La Clappe en Saint Chinian liggen in een straal van 10 tot 40 km. Zwembad zou pas in mei opengesteld worden maar was in orde en door het prachtige weer hebben we er dan ook gebruik van kunnen maken. Absolute aanrader !
