"Aux Charmes was our stopover the night before crossing from Calais on our way home to Scotland. We have stayed in several locations whilst making our road trips and Boulogne Sur Mer has become our preferred place to enjoy a last evening on the Mainland! Aux Charmes has been a great find. It is in a quiet Cul De Sac, yet a very short drive to Boulogne, and equally the A16 motorway. Even I, as a Scotsman did not mind the fact that we had to pay a toll before the free section to Calais. "You have to park on the street to then go inside and get access to their carpark. Staff were friendly. Room was clean however the door to the room was not very soundproof and you can clearly hear those in the corridoor."

"Secure parking, close to the tunnel, room tiny but clean. Functional. No real amenities, the cafe is closed. For me the Jury’s out on whether I like the digital check in for everything and no reception as such. Instructions could be a bit better. "
