Beautiful hotel, attention to details by staff. Dyson hair dryer, were the icing on the cake.

The location is convenient and easily accessible, and the breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience were disappointing. Almost every additional request I made was met with a “no.” I asked whether my luggage could be transferred to my room, and this was refused. There was also no flexibility for early check-in or late check-out, which was particularly disappointing for a hotel participating in Expedia VIP benefits. The biggest issue was on my second night, when the room was very cold. I contacted the hotel multiple times and waited a long time for a technician. In the end, the heating problem was not fixed. A portable heater was eventually provided, but the whole process took around two hours. Overall, the hotel has a good location and a decent breakfast, but the lack of flexibility, willingness to assist, and slow response to a basic room-comfort issue made the stay disappointing. Hospitality is not only about the room—it is also about making guests feel that reasonable requests are met with an effort to help rather than an automatic “no.”

Its a very unique boutique hotel. The size of the rooms was generous and the staff was excellent. Were always able to get tea and coffee at no charge. Breakfast was phenomenal with a beautiful there tiered display, including smoked salmon and then able to order eggs etc. This was all included in our room rate. On the downside its very old, and looks a little tired - but thats also part of the appeal. The biggest downside is no AC, so beginning of October was fine as you can leave the windows open, but the heat of the summer might be tough. Lastly the location is excellent- some nice restaurants very close as well as the subway.
