"We did have some difficulty finding the place. but we absolutely loved it once we got there, listening to the water and the wind every night. There were no English instructions for the appliances or TV. Chat gpt helped. Walking along the beach to our favourite cafe for coffee each morning was the best way to start the day. Parking was easy at the unit but it is only a 21/2 k walk to town. "

"We were met at the property by the friendly agent who showed us around. The apartment was very clean and tidy and in good condition. Well equipped fir cooking if you need to. Lovely views of the gardens and sea from the balcony. Easy parking with a lift. Lots of good restaurants in the area and supermarkets close by. "

"The primary bathroom STINKS. There must be some kind of plumbing issue.The weather was horrible. Estepona was largely empty, under construction, and many of the restaurants or other establishments were closed. Not sure of this was seasonal or due to the particularly poor weather.I understand that this is out of control of the host. Never the less. There you have the rationale for the poor rating. It was most based on the stench."

"The apartment was perfect for our requirements with plenty of places to eat and drink within a close walking distance and the old town not far to walk along the beautiful promenade. There was a gorgeous beach within a few minutes walk with sunbeds to rent and perfect for swimming. The communication with the owner and host was excellent and recommendations for the local area of great help. The apartment terrace has lots of space to enjoy the afternoon sun and relax looking at the beautiful view. There were plenty of toiletries and cleaning products provided which was much appreciated. We would recommend this apartment and would love to be able to stay there again. "

"The location of this place was great for the 3 months we used it for. The view was also beautiful. However, that’s where it ends. The property owner charged us an extra 200 after we left. She had no problem calling us during our stay, but didn’t inform us of this until I contacted her to complain about the extra charge. The bathroom ceiling was crumbling down in the main bath because of a leak upstairs. We had to let people come in multiple times to look at it. The upstairs unit was then working on this leak and it was very noisy. We were asked by the owner if we could let a painter in to come repaint it (we said no). The outside of the building was undergoing cleaning and painting while we were there, which was an inconvenience with sound and smell. She did kindly warn us about this & gave us 2 nights free because of it. However, she asked for the cash to be left for the 2 nights later on when her unit wasn’t painted even though we still had to endure the sound and smell. Lydia, the property manager was nice though. She was very kind the few times we saw her and even gave us a few recommendations. We did stay for 3 months, so if you are just staying a week or two, this unit would be perfectly fine. For the price charged, the place definitely needs to be updated. The bedding & towels were raggedy and the kitchen didn’t have enough supplies to sustain our longer stay. We did buy some nice knives and a pan and left them there for the next guests. "
