Posto dove poter trascorrere una piacevole vacanza nel relax ritrovando quiete e temperature freschissime . Di fronte alla struttura c'è l'hotel sempre gestito dagli stessi proprietari dove potersi appoggiare sia per la colazione che per il pranzo e la cena ma accanto ci sono altri 2 ristoranti con bar e tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno. Tuscan Villa with Private Pool and stunning views sleeping up to 8 people

"We had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool. The views were beautiful; and the pool area is stunning. The house was absolutely perfect. Wonderful history and a beautifully renovated house. Ask the host for recommendations, we were able to experience a beautiful local opera concert in the small town in the valley; which was free! Also, definitely check out their chestnut flour operation. We were able to sample some chestnut pancakes, which were delicious!!! One thing to keep in mind for your visit, the roads in the entire area are narrow, steep and very winding. Definitely not a issue but make sure your vehicle's fluids, tires and breaks are in good order. Also the house is a little walk down the hill so make sure you pack accordingly. We absolutely plan on returning to this little slice of heaven. Thank you Colum!"

"My husband and I held our wedding here with 17 guests who all stayed at the Villa. I cannot begin to describe how absolutely beautiful and dream like the whole experience was. The lush gardens and mountain backdrop was so naturally stunning that I barely needed to have additional decor. My guests and I could not stop raving about the incredible 4 course wedding dinner arranged by the owners with the most beautiful set up. The included coordinator, Marie, made it so easy to get connected with all the local vendors and organized the day perfectly. The whole experience convinced multiple couples within my group that they wanted destination weddings themselves. The Villa and pool house was also stunning and the perfect location for everyone to stay. There was plenty of space and privacy for all guests. It was very clean and well maintained and they even had multiple steamers and hair tools for guests to use. The owner, Donatello, was so kind and helpful and quick to respond to any request we had. It was very hot during our stay, which was challenging when my area provides constant AC, but the pool was the perfect way to stay cool. The local nearby towns were also so lovely to visit and explore. I cannot recommend this beautiful property enough!"

"The mill house was everything we wanted it to be - remote, quiet and beautifully authentic. Well equipped with everything we needed for a large group of nine of us. The children especially loved the pool area and we enjoyed the shaded outdoor eating area with BBQ and pizza oven There are walks straight from the door and the river creates a wonderful backdrop to the mill, with icy cold water to refresh tired feet after a long walk. The drive into Sillico is along an off road track which took 12 minutes to reach the village - Fine as long as you have an SUV. Elisabetta is a wonderful host and escorted us to the house on our first day to ensure we found our way there as well as giving us a guided tour of the mill. We would definitely return, especially in June again when the glow worms create a magical spectacle."

"The property was clean and well equipped and the views are simply amazing, we were heartbroken to leave. We walked into the village several times, had dinner in Il Castello and Lino, loved the grocery shop with its bar, and the Osteria was welcoming and always open. The food in both Il Castello and Lino was fairly indifferent, we were really disappointed with Lino but think we may have hit a bad night. Monica & Silvano looks like the best option, unfortunately we didn't try it! We were at the villa for a big family birthday celebration and booked a chef through Tuscan Retreats for the birthday girl. It was absolutely excellent and really good value. We visited Barga and Lucca during our week and part of the group also did Pisa for the day, it's great to have the station at Casternuovo so close by. In terms of the house, our week started with poor weather and we found it a little cold. This was resolved by Giovanna. Guests can control hot water themselves, we did have some issues with this early in the week. The pool was freezing but some of us braved it! We had an absolutely wonderful week in this beautiful property and fell in love with Garfagnana."

"Das Haus ist sehr schön ,sauber,modern .Es fehlt an nichts!Auch ist der Ausblick ins Tal wundervoll.Eigentlich ist dies ein schöner Ort zum erholen ,eigentlich,weil ein paar Meter weiter vom Haus entfernt Hunde in Käfigen eingesperrt sind .Mittlerweile müsste man wissen das Hunde gerne spazieren gehen und man sie nicht in Käfige sperrt .Das tägliche heulen hat mich von der Lautstärke nicht gestört,tat aber im herzen weh .Auch verstehe ich nicht warum ein kleiner Hund der auch in unmittelbarer Umgebung war nachts draußen sein muss und der kleine Kerl die ganze Nacht durchgebellt hat ."

"Uriges Haus am Rande eines Wildcampingplatzes gelegen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, aber es ist alles da, was man brauchen könnte. Die Lage am Berg ist sehr gut, es sind viele Wandermöglichkeiten in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Auf dem Campingplatz gibt es Esel, Hühner und einen Hund, unserem Kind hat das sehr gut gefallen. Wer einen ruhigen, naturnahen Urlaub verbringen möchte ist hier richtig."
