Courtney House on Lake Marion

Welcome Home to the Courtney House! The Courtney house is located on the cove of Eutaw Springs where fishing off the private dock can be very rewarding. The dock is newly renovated with pole holders and lights for night fishing. Our former guest caught 36 catfish off the dock during their 4 night stay! The 20'x40' boat ramp located on the property gives fishermen the opportunity to launch their boats easily right from the house. Sit on the dock and watch the osprey dive for fish and the occasional bald eagle soar above the cove. Bring your boat, your fishing pole, or favorite book to enjoy a little piece of heaven in Eutawville. As the day closes, the fire pit is ready for an evening under the stars.

The property hosts 5 bedrooms (2 kings, 2 queens, 2 sets bunkbeds-4 twins), 3 full baths, a spacious dining room table(seats 8), large family room with 65" TV with satellite. Family room has extra large sofa, breakfast table (seats 6), and foosball table, along with board games, cards. Washer and dryer, dishwasher, full kitchen. The main house has three bedrooms (1 king, 2 queen beds), 2 full baths and the apartment over the garage has two bedrooms, one king and the second bedroom holds two twin sets of bunkbeds with a Jack & Jill tub/shower bathroom.

For the historians, the Battleground of Eutaw Spring which was the turning point of the Revolutionary War in South Carolina is only a short 10 minute walk.

The home is only a 45 minute drive from Summerville, and 20 minutes from Santee.
My husband and I own the property next door to the Courtney house so we are available to address any questions you may have. I look forward to sharing this beautiful home with you.

The Courtney House is a great house! Very quiet location with private ramp and dock for your boat. The house was super clean with plenty of room for everyone. We have stayed at a different house every year when we come down and this one is by far the cleanest. There are rod holders on the dock which was awesome to have! Within the first 30 minutes of being there fishing my brother caught a 22lb blue, then a 10.5lb blue catfish from the dock!! I would highly recommend staying at this house!! We will definitely be back!!

Best place in Eutawville

The house and the view of the lake are absolutely beautiful. We have made so many memories here and can't wait to come back. There are not enough stars for this place. We have had the pleasure of meeting Judy and Bobby, and they are the perfect host.

The Courtney House is beautiful and Judy and Bobby are amazing host. Their home is very clean and comfortable. It is one of the best places we have stayed in. We can't wait to come back.

Paradise on the lake

Family Get Together

The Courtney House is the perfect spot to reconnect with family. The setting is extremely peaceful and quiet, the house is clean, comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. Judy, the owner, is terrific to deal with and very responsive from booking to checkout. You would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay.

Catfish cottage

This was a great place to stay for our group of 8 on our annual fishing trip to Santee, S.C. Very clean and plenty of room. Great location on the water. Property as described. Bunkhouse is separate from main house but worked well with our group.

Fantastic

The property was absolutely wonderful, we had a large group that was able to hold all of us! The owners set had firewood available for us to use which was a great way to wrap up each night. The house sits right by the lake so the views are just as good outside. A great place to get out and find some quiet!

Another Awesome Stay at Courtney

My brother and I stayed a second time at this beautiful property. Courtney house has become our go to for a guys fishing trip in honor of our late father. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. Plenty of room and very clean. The yard and launch are second only to the view! Judy is a wonderful host and is on top of all the details. Communication was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!

Southern Hospitality with Amazing Fishing

First, this property should be in Southern Living Magazine. It is a beautiful lakefront property. Mrs. Judy is an amazing hostess. She has thought of everything you will need to be cozy and entertained.Mrs. Judy and and Mr. Bobby were even willing to drive from their home to help my elderly parents get into the house since I was not going to get Santee untill later. Mr.Bobby shared interesting history of the area. It helped us more appreciation of the area. We caught some big catfish off the pier! It was a relaxing vacation for all of us. We will be booking again.

Fishing tournament

Really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a great location for fishing access. It’s an easy run up the river, across the lake, or down to the canal and lower lake. The boat ramp is great and there are plenty of exterior outlets for charging batteries. Backing down the driveway to the boat ramp is a little tight (trimming back the shrubbery a little would cure this). We were in an F-250 with a 21ft bass boat. It’s definitely doable just a little tight. The house was really clean and everything worked great. We would definitely stay here again.

A Dream

The location is amazing in addition to the house and neighborhood there are grocery stores, bait/tackle shops, and other stores convenient to the house. The view is spectacular and very accurately portrayed on the listing! The house is stocked with everything you could think of needing, even including box fans for white noise (ceiling fans in every room already) and a crock-pot, both of which I have never had in a rental home. And when I say “home” I say that intentionally. We didn’t feel we were in a rental house but we truly felt at home. We’ve stayed in plenty rentals and never felt that before. We had some decent fishing and the amenities provided were great. Between the multiple rod holders, the benches for seating or tackle boxes, and the bait prep and fish filleting stations were over the top. The owners were super friendly, very responsive to my inquiries, and just plain enjoyable. As they have a house next door, running into them was not an issue at all. It was very pleasant to speak with them. The entire experience was wonderful and I would HIGHLY recommend them, but I almost don’t want to recommend because I don’t want the property to get so popular I can’t get another booking ;-). A true dream experience was had by all!!!
