"The wood track was under maintenance when we went, and there were nowhere else to stroll, made it a bit boring, especially during public holidays. If the track was open and it wasn’t a public holiday we would enjoy the property more. But overall nice and cost effective stay."

"four day stay for some family commitments & some relaxation.we drove from Sydney so were late for check in. Called the reception during the day & they tested me all the after hours check in details. we had a one room cabin with a covered outdoor area. Very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Cooked dinner one night & stove top worked well. Convenient location - you can walk to the surf & to the restaurants. Have stayed before & would stay again"
"We had friends in campsite (2mins walk) so location was perfect. Place clean & beach pad style (basic but had what you need) & the agent team very helpful the day we accidentally locked ourselves out."

"The property is central to various eating establishments, including the bowling club, Illawong Pub, a bakery and coffee shop, walking distance to IGA and SPAR, gift shop etc. easy walk to the beach and another coffee shop. Had friends staying at the caravan park that is beside the bowling club, so easy to visit with them. Good sized fridge, microwave and toaster. On-site washing machine and clothes line. Air conditioning in lounge/ breakfast area and main bedroom. Second bedroom had comfortable queen bed, overhead fan, but otherwise very spartan. "
"The unit is in a great location, quiet and opposite the beach. It looks very nice, well furnished and decorated but it is let down by lack of attention to detail:
Apparently the letting agent, Elders, was supposed to give us a Starter Pack of basics when we collected the key. Yhat didn’t happen, so went went shopping for toilet paper, detergent, soap, dish cloth, and washing powder, all of which were in the Stater pack we received 2 days later!
Besides all that, the salt and pepper shakers are empty, there were no details Rd wifi or password, the security doors didn’t lock,kitchen floor was greasy as was the filthy bbq which didn’t work anyway(we found a gas lighter in the kitchen eventually but , of course, that didn’t work either).
The kitchen had virtually no bench space or storage, the laundry tap ran constantly, one tv didn’t have a remote and the other wasn’t connected to aerial.
I could go on, but in summary, dubious maintenance and poor attention to detail.
Stayz promotes their properties as better than other booking agencies, but this place proved to be just the opposite."
"Good location. Value for money at the time we stayed. Much better than staying in a cabin at the holiday park- much more room and and two bedrooms. Property was in a clean state when we arrived. We didn't care that it's an older property. Key pick up and drop off was too easy."
