"I had an absolutely wonderful stay. When I arrived, it was becoming clear that it was going to snow overnight and then get very very cold. I was thankful to have restaurants and grocery stores close! After stocking up for the weekend, I just stayed put, and relaxed, and really enjoyed the view of the river as I sipped tea and let the world melt away. Didn’t get to XC ski or FatBike, I was just too cozy. Maybe next time. Definitely will be a next time. This was just what I needed:)"

The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!"

"If you are looking for country, middle of nowhere - but close to town... this is it! Beautiful house. Very clean. Owners were very responsive before and during our stay. They left a sweet note and some s'mores for our stay. And the beds.... soooo comfortable. I even had to see what kind so i can find a mattress like it for my own house. All that to say...very comfortable, beautiful, and exceeded our expectations! Ps... bring bug spray. So glad we did."

"This is a beautiful, remote, spacious cabin in a tranquil setting outside of Tustin, MI with a 15-20 minute drive to Cadillac. Pros: Large common spaces, on the river, large front porch, well-equpped modern and clean kitchen, washer/dryer, huge loft for kids/parents to comfortably stay with their own space, very quiet location if one is looking for solitude. Yoder's grocery is closeby (absolute "must stop" for their Amish baked goods). Considerations: no wi-fi, open concept can be a bit noisy if...
