"Our family of five stayed for two nights at this property as we were attending our son’s State Championships for Rugby Union held in Mudgee for the weekend. The property was stunning. The welcome we received along with the free taste testing sitting by the fire pit, the decor and finishing touches of the property, the details such as marshmallows given to the kids to toast by the fire were without fault and greatly appreciated. "Immaculate and well appointed unit. It had everything I needed including a washer and dryer. The villa has lots of large windows in the living area allowing in lots of natural light. The bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Undercover parking with overhead lights, and few steps to the front door was very convenient. I was very comfortable here and highly recommend this villa. "

"My wife and I took a long weekend break and stayed in the Shawood Bottling Room. It was a wonderful stay. Nice high ceilings, good kitchen, parking, etc. Everything we were hoping for. We made our way up the paddock to watch the sunset each night, which was a great suggestion from the host. Not a critique, but I would have loved to have the option to purchase some local wine too. Mind you, we did shop ourselves at the various cellar doors. A great space and location to get away from it all."

"What an amazing place - we loved our stay, only wished it was longer! So peaceful and relaxing, approx 5-7km down a unsealed road. located up a hill with fantastic views, stars at night were incredible, pool v refreshing on a hot day. We even spotted a platypus in the river at the bottom of the property but sadly we did not catch a fish! Will have to try harder next time. Ranui was very responsive and helpful. We would love to visit again"
