Wonderful stay

A wonderful house with marvelous views. Communication with the owner went perfectly. Had some Problems with the water pressure, wich were fixed immediately.

Relaxed Time in Tuskany summer heat

We had a very good time in the tuskany house. You have a lot of space to relax, great pool area and nice balcony for dinner. Two points to improve: the mattresses are completely worn out air conditioning in 34 degree tuskany heat would be fine

Beautiful stay

The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives. The roads in the valley are quite narrow but traffic is generally very light so you I'd recommend not renting an SUV as it makes it much more challenging to pass other cars at points.

Family holiday

The communication from Mike throughout was excellent. The property itself was spacious, well equipped and has several terraced areas, which are perfect for either a large family or 2 x families. Because it’s in the mountains the views are absolutely outstanding, we spent many evenings sipping wine and playing games on the terrace. The pool area is spacious with plenty of Sun loungers and there is a large parasol to give shade when needed. We did many a trip out but we especially enjoyed Lucca which is about 45 min away and Barga which is about 30 min away. The local shop ( down the mountain) has a reasonable supply of goods and lovely fresh bread. We also ate at Da Sandra’s which was very good and reasonable. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, which we didn’t want to end.

great host - very good accomodation

Overall it was great. maybe the pool had too much clorid as we all had red spots after using the pool and if we did not immideat showering. Also we were fearing the harmless scorpions in the beginning. The communication was great and also the support. The houses are fantastic, the way amazing. we really enjoyed it. thank you

A perfect Tuscan retreat

A beautiful farmhouse in a stunning location. The house was clean, tidy and well equipped with comfortable beds and ample space to sit both inside and out for dining and relaxing. The views are quite spectacular and waking every morning to open the shutters to this was breathtaking. The metato was superb and made a great space for my sister and her family to stay in, containing separate bathrooms and tea and coffee making facilities. 7 of us stayed very comfortably within the main house and 3 in the metato with room for another. The pool area was especially relaxing, with a good sized clean pool, a table chairs and sun loungers. Most importantly, there were sun umbrellas and plenty of shade in all the seating areas. Plenty of board games and books are provided and the sitting room is a perfect space for all sitting together. The local Spar provides most of the basics and is around an 8 minute drive away.We cannot recommend this property enough, Mike was brilliant at communicating and sent us all the information we needed for a very smooth stay. We were all very impressed and sad to leave this little piece of Tuscan heaven.

Das Haus liegt am steilen Hang mit weitem Blick in die dicht bewaldeten Berge. Ein Ort um Ruhe zu finden , „schön verwinkelt“ mit verschiedenen Sitzplätzen zum genießen. Es sind natürlich einige Stufen jeweils zu überwinden.Parken ist kein Problem, der Poolbereich ist top man kann gut Radfahren ( sehr steil ) und wandern. Wir sind mit zehn Personen dort gewesen , Zimmer toll, Sitzen innen außen prima.Top zufrieden.

Großes Haus in Alleinlage

Besonders gut hat uns der Pool gefallen. Das Becken und Wasser waren sauber, es gibt ausreichend Liegestühle/ normale Stühle und größere Sonnenschirme. Durch die Berglage hat uns persönlich/ den Kindern ein Platz für Ballspiele gefehlt. Diese sind bei den Parkplätzen aufgrund der Steigung nicht/ kaum möglich. Ansonsten war im Haus alles ausreichend vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Keller ist feucht und daher gab es ein paar Schimmel-Flecken. Da wir den Gastgeber darüber informiert haben, bin ich aber sicher, dass das kurzfristig entfernt wird. Da man direkt auf dem Berg umgeben von Wäldern wohnt, sollte man sich auf diverse Insekten einstellen. Der Gastgeber Mike ist überaus freundlich und war über WhatsApp sehr gut erreichbar. Er hat sich umgehend um unsere Anliegen gekümmert bzw. uns weitere Informationen geschickt, wenn wir sie benötigt haben. Das Restaurant Da Sandra wollten wir mehrmals testen, wurden aber immer abgewiesen. Entweder war alles reserviert, was ja für die Qualität des Essens spricht, oder wir konnten nichts zum Essen mitnehmen, was uns vorab per Telefon jedoch zugesichert wurde.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Lage.

Der Aufenthalt war entspannt und erholsam. Die Zufahrt ging über enge Serpetinen und in das Grundstück fuhr man steil hinunter.

Toller Urlaub

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche auf dem Anwesen. Herrliche Lage mitten in der Natur und die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Der Vermieter hat an alles gedacht, was man als Gast braucht. Auch die Kommunikation hat einwandfrei geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Tagoli. Die Lage ist wunderschön. Das Haus wurde mit Liebe renoviert und bietet alles, was man braucht. Wir waren oft im Da Sandra essen und haben das Essen dort sehr genossen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut und wir haben auf alle Fragen eine Antwort bekommen. Wir werden noch lange an diesen tollen Urlaub denken.

Eine kleine Oase mitten in den Bergen

Das Anwesen ist in der Tat eine kleine Oase mitten in den Bergen mit viel Ruhe und einer tollen Aussicht. Wer die typische Toskana aus dem Reiseführer erwartet, sollte das Haus allerdings nicht mieten, da es von Eichenwäldern umschlossen und durchaus etwas abgelegen ist. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut, besonders die Küche bietet alles, was man auch für eine größere Gruppe benötigt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war absolut problemlos, Michael antwortete immer umgehend auf alle Fragen und Mails. Von den Restaurants um das Haus ist vor allen Dingen Da Sandra zu empfehlen, die Küche ist super und die Preise sehr niedrig. Alles in allem durften wir eine tolle Woche in der Toskana verbringen - ein Aufenthalt kann nur empfohlen werden.

Fantastic getaway in beautiful location

Great house with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Very good kitchen and lounge. Pool is great and outdoor dining /barbecue. Honestly was nothing more we could have wanted during our stay, there were guidebooks and maps, great WiFi, board games and Scrabble. Loved the location, unspoiled and the night skies terrific too. Local restaurant Da Sandra well worth a visit. Spar in local village very friendly. Nearby towns have everything and look out the very special deli L'Aia Di Piero in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. A car is needed but we loved the roads, terrific panoramas.

Tuscan calmness

House is big and specious. We visited it with 3 families (10 people) and it was very comfortable. Kitchen is full equipped. Pools is about 1.3m deep. Big enough for kids to have a good joy. Very good contact with owner. Beautiful view on the mountains. Very quiet and peaceful – nearest other house several hundred meters away. We enjoy stay a lot. Nearest shop circa 7 minutes by a car. Nearest restaurant circa 5 minutes by a car.

Tuscan retreat

Beautiful rustic Tuscan retreat in the mountains with breathtaking views. We enjoyed barbecues and breakfasts on the terrace and relaxing by the pool. The road up was quite an experience but we got used to it and visited Lucca, Barga and the local villages, plus a fabulous Sunday lunch at Sandra’s. Michael was very accommodating and helpful. The peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and space made for a very relaxing holiday.

Heerlijk huis in Toscane

Boven verwachting. Mooi uitzicht. Tophuis. Heerlijk zwembad. Wij waren met gezin en aanhang, totaal 11 personen en genoeg ruimte en privacy voor iedereen. Mn door slaapvertrekken gescheiden en met eigen badkamer. Top Kubb speelveld op het grind boven!! Prachtige wandeling gemaakt; (Bella Vista - Monte Palodina gewoon vanaf huis, zie app Komoot) Dorpje beneden schattig met kleine Spar winkel waar alles verkocht wordt door vriendelijke eigenaar. Ik zeg; meteen boeken!!

Urlaub mit Freunden in der Toskana

Alles war soweit vorhanden. Da der Vermieter aus GB kommt, gab es wohl Übersetzungsprobleme bei der Beschreibung. Das bezieht sich auf die Kaffeemaschine, die ist nicht elektrisch, steht auch nicht in der Beschreibung. Das sollte man aber wissen. Also Kaffefilter braucht man nicht, nur Kaffee :-) Sonst war alles wie erwartet, der Blick vom Haus ist nicht bezahlbar. Natur pur, wir haben es genossen.
