"The only issue we had was that when we booked the room, we were told we would receive a $130 tour credit per room for 4 and 1 free tour per stay. This was very misleading because they tell you it'sa bunch of tours you have to take that will credit you like 5- 10 dollars off to total$130.00 and the free tour was a distillery but there was already a free distillery tour that we took. So that part was disappointing."

"My room was super clean. The bathroom was impeccable. Plenty of towels. I especially liked that not a lot of other guests were there; it was very quiet despite the busy street. Important detail that Expedia leaves out; there’s no front desk, so check in is between 3-5. They were kind enough to let me in after hours, but you shouldn’t rely on my experience; call ahead! I just got lucky. If it had been in the middle of the night I’d have been in trouble. The charm of staying in an old historic rooming house far outweighs any perceived inconvenience for not having a desk. I would definitely stay here again, and might very well do so next year. Important notes; I keep odd hours, so I didn’t utilize the breakfast. Parking would be a major concern on Esplanade if I’d been traveling with a rental. It’s a busy street. Don’t expect off street parking. It’s a neighborhood! The charm of it was wonderful. I walked all the way to the French quarter in maybe twenty or twenty five minutes and took a taxi home."
