"This is a beautiful old property on the historic registry. It is furnished with antiques and period furniture. Don't expect an elevator. The plumbing is also old style but works fine. The lady that runs the B&B, Jill, is charming and engaging. "

"After our VBRO cancelled last minute and had issues getting a refund. We went to Bear Lodge. The staff were open and friendly and went above and beyond to welcome us last minute. Rates were reasonable. The rooms were clean and the grounds were very nice. I will recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Other than having horrible pillows and curtains that were torn so there was no way to keep the midnight light out making sleeping practically impossible the property was decent. The staff was super helpful and would recommend this property for the staff alone. Breakfast was nice and we were able to easily walk to the one reatraunt(pikes landing) in 17 mins"
