"Location location location, provedencia is a place to be! If I was going to live in Santiago I would live here. The hostel itself is nice and friendly, I found it to be very safe. The breakfast available is good, self serve, although I never had the dinner it is available for free as well. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking, in fact every thing is within walking distance. TIP- use Uber instead of taxi!"

"The hosts were great. Warm and inviting. The best thing about the house is it's cleanliness. That being said the hostel was not worth 150 a night. But the only reason I paid was because I didn't know how to get other places. There are plenty of other places around, you just have to find them. Anyways if you have no other choice, its a great choice. But if you have the time to find other places - I think for the same quality you could find something cheaper."

"I’m disappointed because I stayed 1 night and placed it for 3 nights in Orbitz. When I left they overcharged me & told me I had to pay more and ecterca. Disappointed plus no heat; super cold there. Breakfast 3 slices of bread & coffee. The coffee was okay but the rest was disappointing. I complained to Orbitz about the Hostal Union overcharge. Plus I showed them the receipt of what I paid. Bad experience. "
