"Extremely clean, newly remodeled.. was looking forward to soaking in a tub, but is step in shower only now. Staff didn't know which rooms had a tub. Breakfast nothing special, but the usual motel food. Bed very comfortable, big spacious room & bathroom."

"We just had a short overnight stay, but the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming when we got there in the evening, and every encounter throughout. We used the pool,and the water was nice and warm, and since it was a little later, not too busy. The property itself was updated, beds comfortable... I didn't see a coffee maker in the individual rooms, but there was coffee in the lobby. The rooms were nice, just darker than what I am used to - I think maybe the desk lamp was going out because it was really dim. We did not open the blinds since we were on the first floor. The breakfast was pretty good - there was a wide range of foods available, and even my youngest who is the world's pickiest eater, found enough to eat. More a regular hotel breakfast than continental. What really made our stay was the friendly staff; I was bringing food back to our room and one of the staff workers (Anngel) noticed I had my hands full and asked if I wanted a tray and went and got me one- I had completely missed them. Fast forward to about 2 hrs later - I needed to look in the trash can for my daughter's medicine that I had accidentally thrown away. Anngel said no problem, went and got gloves and refused to let me search the can for it; I had to beg her to let me help her. Thankfully Anngel found it; my daughter could have had a seizure without it. I don't think I have ever in my life had someone so willing to dig through trash for someone who accidentally threw something away."

"Nice quiet, clean room. Very friendly staff. Very comfortable bed, nice hot shower, and clean bathroom. Breakfast had options of Jimmy Dean breakfast croissants, yogurt, cereals, and Pop tarts, breakfast bars."

"The place was amazing with a fantastic view of the lake. One neighbor, not so nice. Seems to not like “renters” other neighbors fantastic! The yard wasn’t mowed and we were there for 4 days so it just got higher and not so great to walk down to the dock but overall a fantastic place and would highly recommend! Our kids swam in the lake and it was perfect!"

"We stayed in Wilmington for the WEC horse show, where our daughter competed for the first time and came home with a first-place blue ribbon. Although our stay was brief, the property and amenities were perfect for our family.My husband and daughter swam in the heated pool every day, which was fantastic. Our daughter also loved the playhouse, swing set, and hammock — she called it her little clubhouse.My only wish is that we could have stayed a couple extra days to enjoy even more of the property, including the outdoor fire pit. The estate is gorgeous, and it’s obvious the owners have put a lot of thought and care into every detail. It will not disappoint!"
