"The room was clean and the staff very nice. Unfortunately there is no elevator so if you get a room upstairs you have to carry your suitcase upstairs. We made a reservation to the restaurant we ordered cabbage rolls and the duck. Both could take a little bit more cooking."

"Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Parkplatz auf dem eingezäunten Grundstück. Unsere Hunde durften sich im gesamten Grundstück frei bewegen und waren ebenfalls herzlich willkommen. Die Vermieterin spricht deutsch und ist für jede Frage offen. Der Pool und das gesamte Grundstück, waren sauber und gepflegt.Gerne wieder, liebe Sabine."

"Great overnight stop whilst driving to Budapest. Whilst the hotel looked dated, it held up in terms of facilities, location (right in the middle of the main square), and to top it up - pet friendly. Parking, whilst paid, was right next to the hotel which made it easier, and the fact that it was a covered parking added to the pros of the hotel given the very warm weather and travelling with a dog. Great overall !"

"Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich direkt am Balaton, wo man nach wenigen Schritten direkt am Ufer ins Wasser kann oder dort auf der Wiese oder einer Bank entspannen kann. Dieser Teil des Balaton ist durch die Zäune der dort stehenden Häuser eingezäunt und den Bewohnern dieses Abschnitts vorbehalten. In der Vorsaison war kaum jemand am Strand. Das Wasser ist sauber, endlos flach und einfach herrlich. Dies ist das absolute Highlight des Hauses. Wenn man möchte, kann man mit dem hauseigenen Boot aufs Wasser, was auch etwas Besonderes ist. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich, offen und bei Problemen jederzeit ansprechbar. Man mietet vom Garten gesehen die rechte Haushälfte mit kleiner Terrasse, die Seite links wird teilweise vom Vermieter und Familie benutzt. Das Haus war sehr sauber, hat hier und da aber schon bessere Zeiten gesehen (Wände, Einrichtung in Bädern). Von den drei Schlafzimmern ist eins auf den Fotos zu sehen. Eines der beiden anderen liegt mit Terrasse zum Garten hin, während das dritte im Gang des Hauses liegt. Hier passt knapp ein halbhohes Hochbett und ein Einzelbett hinein. Zur ersten Etage gelangt man über eine Wendeltreppe. Das Haus hat insgesamt eine interessante Architektur, ganz sicher etwas Besonderes. Die Lage ist super, mitten in Szantod, ein Urlaubshotspot, was man auch an den Preisen merkt."

The easy check-in process and the quick, helpful support with any questions were especially appreciated.As a small point for improvement, the freezer should be defrosted and the dishwasher needs descaling.
