if you're looking to get the whole Chongqing experience, do not stay here! The location of this hotel is terrible and it's very far away from all tourist spots. Typically it take us 20 to 30 minutes to call a car from where we are back to the hotel at night. Another thing is I feel like the hotel staff is incredibly unprofessional. They do not wear uniforms and do not greet you at all. Also, the rooms are not soundproof. One night at 2am we literally got woken up by people next-door yelling because the rooms were not soundproof. I would say that the only good thing about the hotel is that it's clean and there's a self service laundry on the eighth floor. But other than that, the location is not great and you can get a hotel for the same price but near jiefangbei.

The Hyatt Regency was in a great location and with close distance to shopping, food and sights! The rooms were large and comfortable. Our room didn’t have much of a view from the 28th and 30th floor but once we got outside there were plenty of lights. I’ll stay here again.
