At best, this is a 3-star hotel. The rooms were worn, with stained furniture, peeling leather chairs, and a run-down bathroom with a clogged bathtub. The biggest issue was the noise. Ongoing street construction made every passing car sound like a gunshot, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. Hotel did offer ear plugs and noise canceling machine… Room service is only available in the morning, and there aren't any convenience stores nearby. However, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, including a good restaurant on the property. Overall, this hotel did not live up to its rating, and I wouldn't stay here again. DO NOT USE THE SELF PARKING LOT NEXT TO HOTEL ON CORNER OF 11th/ALDER! Several cars were broken into when we stayed there on several nights. USE HOTEL VALLET!

"This is a very old property that has not been updated. We stayed there July 2-4 and paid more than double the normal price. I was unpleasantly surprised at the poor quality for the price. I thought the price reflected the property's quality, but discovered it was high only because of supply and demand ..."
