"I had a really great stay at this hotel. Everything was modern, clean, and comfortable. My room was lovely — very cozy bed, stylish bathroom, and even a fridge, which was super convenient. The whole place feels really well looked after. I stayed in autumn and it was so peaceful. There’s a beautiful little stream behind the hotel, and the pools and outdoor spaces look amazing — perfect for summer. The location is quiet and relaxing, though there aren’t many restaurants nearby. It’s about a 10-minute drive to Quillan. The staff were fantastic — really friendly, welcoming, and professional. The front desk service was excellent, and the waitress at the restaurant was lovely too. Parking on-site was easy and convenient. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pools and sunshine!"

"Convenient stop close to autoroute, but only short drive into town centre for evening sightseeing. Room extremely small but this to be expected . Very welcoming and helpful receptionist. Good parking. Some traffic noise at rear. "

"A lovely quiet area, gorgeous pool, clean and spacious house and friendly attentive hosts! We had day trips to Carcassone and Mirepoix - both fantastic.... we would've loved to stay longer! "

"What a wonderful place!! Sam was there to welcome us and with a large, multiage family we were never short of things to do. The movie room kept the teenagers happily gaming away and the pool kept the little ones cool. We enjoyed meals on the patio and a well stocked kitchen with excellent air conditioning in every room. The decoration is still work in progress but this did not detract from our great trip! Thanks Samuel"

"The Chaumiere is really the only good hotel in this area, decor feels a little set in the 1990's, but facilities are great and the set menu at the restaurant is a real treat. It has a nice casual feel and a very attentive owner/manager"

"Great Place near to town centre. Friendly family run business . Excellent value and great breakfast included. Comfortable lounge to relax in and watch tv. Secure parking also .. Excellent for a stopover"
