"Charming place no actual contact with anyone. They text you a room code and you’re checked in. Hotel was charming no A/c tho, a building was going up next door so that blocked air flow until late into the night when it got goodly cold and it blocked the views. Loved this place tho. The town folds up very early it’s so quiet it’s wonderful and the stars are breathtaking "

"I like the historic home atmosphere. The new owners have made improvements to make guests feel more at home. The breakfast was very good, not too fancy. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the place for you. Most rooms are upstairs (narrow staircase). The shared bathroom is small and has a clawfoot tub on a raised platform. We only stay one night when we stay here because my husband can't get in the tub. But that is what you get when you stay in a historic house. We love it here."

Amazing House

"We stayed here for our wedding. It was so special to have a gathering place for our families, and being able have our dog with us was just the cherry on top of an amazing couple of days. The location is perfect for walking around town. The area is gorgeous and was a beautiful place to get married. Having this central location for all the memories and staring married life together was truly amazing. Thank you!"

"The lodge is more like a hostel in that the bathroom and shower is down the hall from your room. However you have your own private bathroom and shower which are keyed to your room. Be careful not to leave your key in the bathroom or shower since those doors lock without using a key. Overall very clean and comfortable. There are no staff at the desk. It is managed by staff at another motel"
