"This is an historic property in the historic town of Silverton Colorado. We felt our stay was outstanding! Our room and bath were immaculate. The bedding was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the lobby and furnished bar area. While the hotel does not serve alcohol, guests are welcome to sit in the bar area and visit, watch TV and play games. A full commercial kitchen is also available for guests to use. The Avon is dog-friendly, and our pooch enjoyed meeting the other well-behaved pups. We had a great visit and appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely return."
"If stairs are a problem then it’s not for you but if you want to go back in time it has a very Victorian feel and great hospitality. The breakfast each morning was wonderful and chatting with the other guest and staff was an added plus."
"Perfect location in downtown Silverton. It's comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen, nice beds and a comfy sitting area. I've stayed here a couple times and it's always a great stay. The owner has always been helpful and super nice. "
"We enjoyed our stay. It likes that we could walk to town and dining options. I would suggest ventilation fans in the bathroom. Otherwise clean and comfortable. "
"The unit was very unique and comfortable. The only issue was that the latch on the door didn’t work so in order to close the door, we had to hard lock it. "
