"The lakeview room was nicer, but windows were too dirty to take photographs. The bed and pillows were comfortable and room was clean. The bath was a little dated. The restaurant was expensive and food not that good. Had a BBQ burger that had a horrible texture and was served cold. Recommend going off site for dinner. The breakfast buffet was better. There is a resort fee, but at this time of year, the pool area is cooler and the hot tub was crowded, not worth the $21 per night."

"We loved the location - close to Helvetia and secluded along the river, but not too far down a country lane. The cabin had everything we needed for the weekend and we appreciated having a cozy retreat after our busy days exploring and running around. The WiFi worked well and the cabin was toasty warm the whole time. The host was friendly and welcoming in responses and answered some questions I had before booking. We’ve had a lot of snow in the past few weeks, so I was prepared to have some difficulty getting to the cabin. With the location of the cabin, it was still snowy along the river when most of the snow had melted elsewhere. It was a winter wonderland. The road to the cabin was pretty icy and snow covered, but it was also flat and not a problem for the short drive. Our SUV with AWD had no problems on the road."
