"Carpets were worn, but who cares?
Clean room, good staff; biggest issue was the air-conditioning. With record heat waves passing through Europe, the AC in the room was barely adequate. This is true for many Italian hotels, and I’m told in some rooms, the a.c. was better than in others, but this is something to look out for."
"The hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful inside, the rooms were very spacious with everything you would need, and more. We even had a cute balcony over looking the garden (just a shame there weren't any chairs to sit out on!) The beds were very comfy and even though the room was set up with two single beds they were a large single. Only negative point- We had a small issue with the shower screen leaking water onto the bathroom floor, but moving the shower head to a different position solved it. (Though long term it does need a rubber seal)
The hotel is in a good location, we chose it as it was close to the station but equal its a short walk to the centre and main sight seeing areas.
Final the breakfast!!! I have never seen so many options on a continental breakfast, and it was a so delicious too.
We would all highly recommend this hotel and would return without hesitation."
"Wish I stayed an extra night. This hotel was beautiful.
The room was nice and clean, the gardens were fabulous and a great place to have breakfast (which also had a good variety of foods available).
Close to bus too was also helpful.
Staff was super friendly as well!"
"The decor is a bit old fashioned but everything is good as new. Beds were very comfortable and the AC in the room worked well and was much needed as it was 38°C. The bar is nice but closes at 11pm. Very good central location and everything is walking distance."
