"Amazing stay with exceptional service!
We had a fantastic time at Lagos Avenida Hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel truly stood out. It's one of those special places where everything feels thoughtfully designed. Highly recommended!"

Special shout out to Carla -a credit to the hotel
It’s quiet and a bit further out from main drag so need to walk there but supermarket and restaurants near there anyway "

"The property is very clean. Staff are very helpful. Walking distance to the beach. Need a car to get around. Marina de Lagos is 10 min ride away. We absolutely loved staying here. We highly recommend it "
"For a hotel with as many rooms as it has, the area around the pool and restaurant never felt crowded, we were always able to get sunbeds for our party of 3.
Reception was very welcoming when we arrived late (due to delays in passport control) which was heartening.
Our room was spacious and well maintained, the housekeeping team were great. It would have been better if there were sufficient seats on the balcony - we moved a seat from the dining table so we could all sit together.
The kitchen was well equipped and a great facility - although we didn't self cater - plenty of glasses and plates for drinks and snacks.
Breakfast was good, although the choices were the same every day (but then again, breakfast is breakfast). More fruit choices would have been a plus.
Checkout was seamless: as we were leaving early and would miss the breakfast service, we were offered a substitute which was great - no prompt was needed, again very welcome.
Top marks for customer service and hospitality - thank you for a great stay."
"Loved everything about this property. Views and property were beautiful, rooms were spacious, modern, and quiet, easily walkable to a great beach (Praia do Porto de Mos), multiple pool options, and 10 min walk to access the boardwalk that runs to the lighthouse and then the string of beautiful beaches close by (Praia de Camilo, Praia da Ana etc). Very close drive to Old Town which was very charming and had tons of shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend!"
"Communication was excellent, location very central in Lagos, great breakfast, and the little extras (a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates) made our stay comfortable and memorable!"
"Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. The everyday cleaning and turn down service is a big plus. The hotel has everything you need for a beach day, towels, blankets, umbrella and some beach toys and bikes as well. There’s even a filtered water refiling station. Joanna at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful during our entire stay. So glad we chose Salty Lodge! "
"I highly recommend getting a massage. 30 minutes is only 34 euro. Buffett breakfast was excellent, lots of options. Overall, exceptional place to stay. "
