"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place for a family vacation. Property management company was responsive and helpful. House was spacious and comfortable, with lovely views of the lake. Location on the lake, including the small,sandy beach, was well suited for fun with kids and toddlers."

"Very clean and comfortable home. Worked well for our family. Loved all the natural lighting. Shared beach access area is really small so without a boat you don’t have much lake access. That said, the community is very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed walking the very quiet roads every morning. And there is so much to do in Traverse City. We booked late and couldn’t find anything on the lake. So given its location it’s a very nice clean property and the host communicates very well."

"This was our first time staying in Interlochen and we picked the PERFECT place to stay at. There were 4 of us (2 couples) staying here and we loved the venue & atmosphere. We also enjoyed the table & chairs (by the dock) on the private lake, as well as the fire pit and hot tub. The place was very clean and they had everything you need, and more, to make your stay complete. We had attached neighbors but you wouldn't of known it--we didn't see or hear them the entire weekend. This was a very relaxing stay, and we hope to come back in the future."

"We just left our weekslong stay at Farmhouse Therapy. We enjoyed every bit of this property from the pool to the lake to the ping pong table. It worked out well for our family of eight (dogs included)…..another bedroom and bathroom would’ve helped, but there were plenty of beds overall. Joe and Kelsey were great hosts, providing plenty of the extras (towels, paper products and kitchen essentials). We’d stay here again!"

"This was a rustic cottage, so was forgiving of a lot of the oddities of the property - in fact, we found it charming, as it felt really authentic, an old-school summer cottage probably built 100 years ago (with an addition here and there along the way). The place is run-down, but as I said, this was part of the charm - who doesn't remember some smell of mildew in their old family cabin from childhood? It went away once we opened up the windows and let the breezes in form the lake - fantastic ventilation here! WiFi was great, but ceiling in bathroom was only a few inches over 6 ft high. The carpeting was stained, but our family dog was joining us at the lake, so it took the pressure off of keeping the floors pristine carpet. We kept his paws clean as possible, but we didn't feel so stressed about the floors... Perfect dog-friendly rental! The neighbors were all friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Mickey Lake. You are roughing it a bit at this cottage - but we had a wonderful time relaxing here. The kayaks and hot tub were well used!"
