Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, good size and the balcony with a view. It was quiet too. The only, very minor downside was a bit dark, lack of light in the ceiling. The bathroom was clean, good size and shower was powerful. Breakfast is good too, with lots of selection, from the usual continental as well as hot sausages, bacon, beans, scrambled eggs and boil eggs. Orange juice was good, as well as the coffee. It is close to the train station, closer than I expected. And the ski free shuttle is right opposite the hotel front door. The ski room with boot warmer. There was swimming pool but I didn't use it. Cannot fault it at all, 100% recommended.

There was no view from the room. It was just a wall outside window.

Lovely part of old town Lucerne. Just a bit too far to walk from the train station with luggage. Walkable to many shops and restaurants along the river.

This hotel was good, but you had to check in at a different hotel which wasn’t far.

Easy to check in . Walking distance to Zürich bus station and train station.
