We've pulled together all the info you need to make your journey as stress-free as possible. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be zooming through the airport and enjoying Fullerton in no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, put in your passport, important documents, wallet and medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the hours. A thrilling book and a phone crammed with your favourite shows are some terrific options. If you plan to catch a few z's, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones will also come in handy. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes so you'll arrive looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and fireworks, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your priority when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a smart choice, as are flat, enclosed shoes.
- You're probably aware of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To reduce your risk on board, drink plenty of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your legs and feet often.
